Full time EMT. Heard recommends about this and had to get it finally. Cuts through metal, I found out as I was clipping a carabiner off my pants. Highly recommend, no other product comes close.

These are absolutely fantastic and worked as described on the Firefighter and first responder, and I’ve used these many times and rescues medical related incidents. My only complaint would be maybe order an extra sheath as mine broke, but it broke after a lot of use.

Ever since I bought this I've used it more that my Leatherman pocket knife. I pry I never have to use it in a life or death situation, but it feels like good quality, the scissors haven't failed me yet, and over all I'm happy with my purchase. Would buy again if needed.

Hello all! I am an ER Tech, I spend my day drawing blood, doing compressions and cutting clothes off critical paitents. I am very pleased with not only the sharpness of the shears, the versatility of the tool and its safety features on cutting clothes away from.even the uhh oddly shaped folks who are dying. The bottom of the blade let's you spend more time cutting then making sure you aren't jabbing the patient. The ring cutter is amazing and you would be surprised at the times you need yo ruin a beautiful ring to save a life or limb. My only issue with the shears is that the holster it comes with isn't very compatible with scrubs but it's compact enough to fit where you need it and maybe getting a belt with some flushes and vacutainers will make it more doable. Either way from heat strokes to unresponsive being the person with scissors (shears) on hand makes you quite handy as is the tool.

Some of the most durable trauma shears out there with a great warranty. Collapsable and fit comfortably on my belt. A little pricy but my first pair are over 10 years old and still working great. This pair was a gift for a friend.

Can't go wrong with leatherman

So handy to have in a rescue situation, the strap cutter is so sharp it cuts the belt like a hot knife through butter.. Thanks Leatherman, lives are saved on the daily with your products.

Every ERT captain at my work carries a set of these! They are worth every penny. They are well designed with so many tools all in one, and a quality that can only come from leatherman. I’ve had them for 4 months and unfortunately have had to use them in an emergency situation, they will in fact cut through Kevlar boots. The carrying case/ holster leaves some things to be desired. After 4 months of being worn on my belt daily the screw backed out and I lost the case along with the shears…

It is bigger than I thought it would be, they are full size shears when unfolded. The holster is functional but i find that it always feels like it’s not quite in the right spot, slightly awkward design.

I owned a $30 knock off of these for the past year and I decided I wanted a pair of the true Leatherman brand. Although the shape and size is consistent with the cheap ones, it was immediately obvious to me that the quality of meta and fittings were head and shoulders over any others. Designed for medical / first responder use, I find that these.are also perfect for camping and crafting as well. You might also enjoy showing off the glass breaker and ring cutter to friends you dont want to see as much of anymore.
