Took this on holidays and it is as described it kept my pens below 5 degrees for more than 12 hours . I was stopped at airport security so they could check inside, but they were happy. It is robust and feels well made. One point made by someone else about the thermometer, it would be easily lost or dropped, but if you’re careful it shouldn’t be a problem. You can fit 2 pens inside.

Bought this to use with my mounjaro pen when I travel abroad. Conducted a test at home and can confirm it kept my pen cold for at least 26 hours, it was still very cold and would have kept it cold for another day without a doubt. I'm only going to be travelling for 18 hours so I didn't test it out for the full 60hrs but I'd be confident enough to trust that it'd keep it cold for that long. It doesn't feel heavy, it's nice and lightweight. It only holds one mounjaro pen as I put my pen in an envelope to protect it from freezing, so that took a little space. The sticker on the bottle was bought separately from amazon.

I've flown to Australia many times, most of them my insulin was not much good, it arrived warm despite spending on cold bags designed for travel.. This time the cold pack was still solid in the centre and insulin nice and cool, this was the ultimate test, an overnight stop before hitting Heathrow, then 20 hours in the air plus stopover. Must have been 40 hours in all and it worked like a dream. I needed two of these Coolers staying for 3 months, a lot of insulin. Thoroughly recommend this cooler

Very useful product and was effective for me. The only real negative I found was that perhaps the included thermometer could have been tethered in some way. I managed to leave mine in a fridge somewhere in Japan. Most importantly, I wanted to share my experience of taking this through airport security. In the UK (Manchester) the staff I dealt with hadn't seen one before, but were very efficient and after seeing my prescription and letter for travel, were happy to let me through. Leaving Japan, I was asked if I had a drink and when I said it was medicine and (a little unfortunately) opened the canister they very quickly allowed me on my way. I only needed to keep my medication at a reasonable room temperature and this product more than managed that, even with extended travel times. I'd have reported in more detail, had I not lost the thermometer!

Keeps injection pens cold for much longer than it says in the instruction manual. Very safe option for long-haul travellers. Raises some eyebrows at airport customs though, so be ready to bring along your prescription.

Tuve mis dudas sobre si el termo era capaz de mantener la temperatura durante las casi 24h que lo necesito, a una temperatura relativamente baja pero sin llegar a congelar. Lo he puesto a prueba, incluso en ambientes cálidos, y responde genial. He probado con otra tapa con sensor de temperatura, con la misma medida, y no mantiene igual el frío. Por tanto, el termo en sí, funciona genial. El termómetro interior ayuda a vigilar la temperatura, y el tamaño es muy bueno. Yo llevo dos goteros de aproximadamente el grosor de un dedo de ancho, y caben justitos pero bien, además del termómetro y la botellita de gel de frío. Muy contento con la compra y muy práctico. No entiendo las reviews que dicen que no aguanta el frío bien. Supongo que abren y cierran el termo todo el tiempo. Pero si sólo lo abres cuando lo necesitas, funciona bien, al menos en mi caso.

I have previously been using a small Thermos container with a frozen gel pack in it to keep medication cool and found that after about 8 hours, the gel pack would be thawed out. I could prolong its frozen state considerably by placing that container within a fabric lunch sack packed with more gel packs, but that arrangement was not very compact. I was skeptical that the Disoncare Medical Travel Cooler would meet the claims of keeping medication below 8 °C for 28 hours, especially since the gel bottle isn't all that big, but thought I'd give it a try to see if it would at least exceed the 8 hours that I'd experienced with my Thermos. The box that the item comes in displays a set of Temperature vs. Time curves that show the performance of the product under different ambient temperatures (see first attached image). I decided to conduct my own experiment to verify those results. I froze the gel bottle overnight, placed it in the container along with the thermometer provided, and left it on the kitchen counter for 2 days, taking note of the temperature every so often. The ambient temperature in my house was about 25 °C, not as hot as those in the first image. I repeated the experiment 3 times to ensure that the results were consistent and not just a one-off. And to my pleasant surprise, I was able to confirm the advertised results! The contents were kept below 8 °C for 36 hours (again with a lesser ambient temperature than shown on the box). I've shown my results in the second attached image. So given that, I can definitely recommend this product. Note, that it's not clear with the ad, but the cap securely screws on, a desirable feature – the pictures make it look like it just pushes on.
