Orion Children's Books Where Magic Grows: Unique Tales of Wonder and Enchantment

Added this to my 11 year old collection of the authors other sellers. Really well written and has positive impact on kids

A really attractive hardback book. Not aimed at me (although to be fair surely books ARE actually aimed at parents and grandparents too) but it made me want to start reading immediately. The illustrations are enticing and aren’t all the same…some are nighttime…all are interesting. I love the titles of the stories: The Axe That Married a Tree or The Bed That Stole Time. I defy these not to capture most children’s imaginations. The last time I was entranced by stories similar to these was reading Enid Blyton’s compilation of Greek myths as a child. They sound modern and they’re fun too. This would make a gorgeous present.

This hardcover book is illustrated with lovely, colourful images and printed on very good-quality paper. As an additional bonus, the book also has a ribbon bookmark attached. This book is a visual treat, with rich colours, a good-sized font for easy reading, and different font styles to emphasise important sections in the book and the opening tales. I found this book very interesting to read. My kids enjoyed the enchanting stories. My oldest daughter had no problems with reading it, but my ten-year-old son was a bit confused by the change of fonts, which is unusual for kids' books. I think that this book is a very beautiful addition to our family library. I am very happy I chose a physical copy over an eBook. I think this book would be a lovely birthday or Christmas gift.

Very disappointed. The front and back covers on each corner are damaged - I actually had to check to see if I had bought a used one.

Such a beautiful book, just flicking through it when I first opened it made me want to start reading it, I was immediately hooked. Filled with beautiful and quirky illustrations, which make it more interesting and keep kids engaged. The stories are easy to follow, well written and entertaining. Great for reading to your child at bedtime. Hope you found my review helpful
