Artecho Neon Oil Pastels Set of 12 Colors (10 x 70 mm)

Great colors, pretty easy to blend (from this beginner) all in all well worth the money and I sure am having fun! Have fun coloring!!!

They’re pretty vibrant! They seem to blend well with the other brand I have (Faber-castle which is a little less quality) obviously there’s only so much pigment that can come through but over all they layer and blend well. I use them to create more color depth

Does not show well on black paper! Shows beautifully on light colored paper though.

I purchased the MontMarte set of Fluoroscent pastels as well, which were my first choice but added these simply because of the ratings and super low price. When they arrived I opened each and swatched them on 70 lb sketch paper. - interestingly, while the outer packaging/boxes were different (MontMarte had thinner, end flap opening, while the Artecho had thicker quality bottom and top lid construction), their trays (texture and cutouts) as well as the clear plastic tray lids (cutouts and texture, ridges, etc) were exactly the same! I feel they’re made by the same company! - The colors in the sets were exactly the same. - The texture was nearly the same….micro-differences, where the MontMarte set felt slightly creamier…I think? - In both sets the neon yellow was the highest density and quality. - All the others had a general translucency which I expected anyway, they’re Fluorescent, after all. (You’re not going to get lightfastness or high quality, etc.). Even if you try to build up layers. I wanted these for mixed media, so that’s ok for me. - There appears to be very slightly more pigment load (ahem, if you could call it that in these types of pastels) in the Montmarte but for me not enough to pay more should I buy again. -ever so slight better blendability between two colors with the MontMarte, but that is dependent on how similar in value the two are. Two rectangles of light and dark value placed end to end on paper in both brands leaves telltale marks of where each value originally was laid down when I tried to blend the middle between them. Not so much when the rectangles were two lights or two darks, and slightly better with MontMarte…slightly. - For slightly more than half price I’d go with Artecho. Once I work more with both and do ‘real world work’ with them I’ll change or update this IF it needs to be.

Love these colors so much! Great product! I would recommend them to all.

Our little 6 year old artist is inspired using these! She’s a girly girl who loves bright colors and these are perfect for that! She says the orange color comes off more hot pink- which she loves but took some trial and error! She’s having a blast using these.

These do NOT blend or layer well. They are gummy and pull up the other colors when you attempt to layer them. I gave an extra star in the rating for having the neon color selection.

I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of this product. The Pastels are soft and easy to work with. They are a good value for the money.

Accettabili per bambini, ma sono poco pigmentati e un po’ duri

Pensé que iba a pigmentar mucho más y tuve que ayudarme de mis ceras oil pentel. No soy profesional,que conste,seguiré probando por si fuese el papel,no lo sé. No me gustaron mucho.
