I've used several all in one hubs and this is the first one I've used that has an HDMI port, micro SD and SD card readers. I like how it has 2 USB-A connectors so that I can hookup my wireless mouse and 10 keypad. Since my laptop has only one USB-C connector, I like how this one has an USB-C port so that I can connect my power cable to it while the hub is plugged into my laptop. While this hub has a wide variety of ports and card readers, I noticed a couple of issues.When I use my wireless mouse, I noticed that sometimes it skips. For the most part, it show the arrow moving around the screen but there are times when it will stop moving for a couple of seconds. I know that it isn't the surface that my mouse is on because when a plug in another USB hub, the mouse works fine. Also, after hours of use, the hub gets a little warm.

This USB c adapter gave more more ease by adding USB port to my laptop with bonus of flash card reader whichmy laptop is missing.

I have an inexpensive ASUS laptop (e410-mab) that has two USB-3 ports and one USB-C port. The laptop also has no SD or micro-SD slots. I got this adapter to get the extra USB-3 ports and for the SD and micro-SD capability. I did not need the HDMI port as my laptop does already have one. When plugged into the laptop, is uses just under 2 Watts of power, so your battery use per charge will be slightly reduced. The USB ports on the adapter worked very well for the devices I tried on them (USB-3 thumb drive, USB-3 hard drive, USB-2 Logitech Unifying receiver. The SD and MicroSD cards worked as expected.My laptop also does not support USB-C charging, so I did not test using the charging port.While I don't need the HDMI port, I tried it with both Windows 11 and MX Linux 21, but was unable to get it to work. I suspect that it may not work because of there is already an HDMI port on the laptop. I cannot confirm that as this is the only laptop I have that has a USB-C port. However, in Linux, a scan of the USB bus confirms that Linux does 'see' the device, even though neither MX Linux nor Windows 11 will use it on my system.I am used to somewhat larger 'docking stations' and was somewhat surprised at how small this device is. It is a mere 62g (2.2 oz), easy to be thrown into your laptop bag.I am giving 5-stars even though I wasn't able to get the HDMI port to work. I suspect the issue is with my laptop.

This compact USB C hub allows me to easily connect my iPad Air to a monitor or tv and charge it simultaneously. The picture quality is excellent, with no delay. It’s plug and play, just plug the USB C cable end of the hub into your device, then connect an HDMI cable to the hub and monitor, and it’s up and running. I can also connect USB devices and memory cards, if necessary.It’s small, lightweight, highly portable, and made of durable aluminum. I haven’t experienced any issues with overheating, it seems to run fairly cool. It works seamlessly with my iPad Air and also has two USB 3.0 ports for connecting external thumb drives, or powering other devices.I don’t really need the card reader, but it’s nice to have in case I ever do. At under $20, it’s a solid value and certainly worth considering. I recommend this hub, especially for iPad or MacBook users.

I do like this multi media reader! I always had to move my USB cords around and unplug them to plug up my various cameras to be able to get the pictures /videos off.Now with this i don't have to do that.The only think I didn't know but was an easy fix was that my computer doesn't have a USB type c outlet. It just has the regular USB. So I needed to buy an adapter for it.

I recently took a trip where I carried a chrome book in order to stay in touch with online items. I found this 6 in 1 adapter most useful. I was helping a friend transfer some pictures from a phone to a computer this adapter made the job very easy as I was able to connect to various items. I could read the phone's micro SD card or connect to the desktop computer with the USB connections. Everything was done without having to hunt for individual connectors, a real time saver. I highly recommend this for travel or general use around the home. Great product!

This Hopday USB C Hub turned out to be just what I needed for my new Surface 8 Pro. It was instantly compatible. The ability to attach a portable monitor while plugging in a portable hard drive made my Surface Pro a convenient workspace wherever there was power on campus. The 100-watt power delivery was more than enough to power my Surface 8 and my portable monitor. With my workspace set-up complete, I still had a USB 3.0 data port available for a flash drive should I ever need it. I am impressed with the reliability and versatility of this dock and would recommend it.
