Did the job
I upgraded the valve on my water heater. It looks good and feels solid. I used tape and pipe dope and it does not leak. I was not able to drain and flush my tank without first installing this new valve due to the amount of sediment clogging the old one. Overall a good choice.

Overall good product, but slight oversight on materials
Bought this product for outdoor use; in less than a year, I noticed the fastening nut on the valve was rusting. Obviously cheap materials used for that part, ended up replacing the nut. Overall, satisfied with the product, but annoying to have to replace that part.

Great shut off valve
I recent Home improvement project turned out to be a little more involved than I would have liked and my tap to shut off the water to the hot water heater started leaking so definitely time to upgrade to something much better and this was really great, very clean looking very easy to operate. I'm 100% satisfied with this tap.

There is a ball, it’s just not actually a ball lol
I nearly wrote a poor review because on initial inspection it looks like the ball is missing and the handle didn’t turn. After putting it in a vice and banging the handle with a hammer it became apparent that there isn’t exactly a “ball” inside, but a spherical segment with a hole down the centre that rotates to either occlude the flow of water or allow it to pass. Not exactly the mechanism I’d imagined. The handle is initially extremely tight but once you get it to move it works fine. I’m not a plumber, I’m just a novice trying to set up a sand point well - and this was one of the many things I’ve learned the hard way on my journey in offgrid living Long story short, don’t jump to conclusions lol
