Midland SPK100 Speaker for my Wouxun KG-1000G Plus in RV
This speaker is connected to my Wouxun KG-1000G Plus GMRS radio located in my Coachmen trailer. It’s tucked away so that it’s not taking up precious space, but at the same time allowing a full sound experience. My GMRS radio is hidden on the wall behind my TV, so the sound from its speakers is not great. This Midland speaker solves that problem quite well. I found the value to be good as it’s very well made and very easy to install.

Sound's good, but not great, quality built, but way overpriced...
Read allot of rave reviews about this speaker, so decided to give it a try. Seems no matter how many I try and I've basically tried them all, at least all the top tier one's, nothing out performs the one's I assemble from scratch. First off, this speaker is loud(20 watt's worth.) It has a more mellow tone than most, but considering all the comment's about clarity, this just seems like another"middle of the road"speaker. I realize, to have good sound coming out, you must have good sound going in and this was connected to 2 very nice 11 meter radio's and the sound was slightly above average, but"nothing to write home about. Based on my experience, this is an above average speaker that is quality built, but way overpriced, should be around $39.95 at best...Thank you

Excellent, loud speaker, draws voices out with a precise clarity.
Loud speaker, on scanning frequencies it gives a tinge of clarity. Excellent for those of us with hearing impairment

Works well with Whistler TRX-2
Paired it with my Whistler TRX-2 in the car. Can definitely hear the radio transmissions better, especially with these newer cars where the speaker is mounted in the back.
