Very easy to install but very secure. The seat is just the right size for our miniature terrier mix to see out the window, standing or seated and it’s roomy enough for her to lie down. The seat’s tether works easily with her harness. The base is very study and the plush faux fur cover and pad make the seat a comfy place to rest.

I bought this for my chihuahua mix and she loves it. I was concerned about stability but the shoulder seat belt fit around nice and snug. I bought the medium because the smaller one was sold out in the grey color but she has room to stretch out which is her preferred sleeping position. If your dog likes to stretch out the wider one will work. Check dimensions of your seat against car seat. Mine fit flat even though my truck wasn't level due to way seat cushion is in segments. The car seat sat flat on the seat edges and the belt holds it in place. I bought separate tether to attach around headrest to her harness for security. The padding and cushion are a beautiful silvery grey and very soft.

One molded piece. Hard plastic. Comes with cover but if you live in a cold climate you make want to bring an small blanket to put on top of the cover. Since it’s made out of hard plastic, it gets very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer when you leave it in the car. It’s an easy fix for this great booster seat.

Once, I proudly told all who would hear, "I don't have kids, so I'll never have to lug around hunks of plastic in the back of my car." Oh, what a bitter pill I now swallow.I have two spoiled French Bulldogs who cannot abide the backseat so in a fruitless bid to strike some harmony—and keep them from turning into 25 lbs projectiles in the event of an accident—I bought this. This seems to be one of the best dog booster seats out there: it straps securely in and is made of decent materials. Quality could be better. The" bed" is little more than cheap, thin foam wrapped in equally cheap fabric. I fully expect to have to DIY a new seat cover in the next year. The leashes are also very flimsy with tiny clips. I bought seat belts that clip into the car for my pups (they are small, but mighty), but then I'm left with the issue of playing musical seat belts to try to get the booster seat, plus two seat belts into the car in some semblance of order.The jury is still out on whether the booster is a bane or boon so far as the pups are concerned. They're a hard crowd to please.

I am so glad I bought this car seat. I have been debating for months over which one to buy to replace my Frenchie's kinda crappy one. We just got another puppy so I bought one for her and I will be buying another one for my other dog. I got the 20". It is the perfect size for a frenchie (20lbs) to be comfortable on a long ride. I love that you can change out the bedding in it and still keep in the restraints. Since it is a little too big for my puppy right now, I put her cuddler bed in it to give her a safer and more snug place to be. It installs easily, won't move around, and won't destroy the seats of your car (even leather)

Seat installed very easily. However, it sits funny on my bucket seats. Kinda tilts backwards. Also the pad isn’t as thick as I hoped for. But so far, it’s durable and fairly comfortable for my miniature dachshund.

Our dogs love it!!! I have a 5 year old and a 6 month old dachshund and they fit perfectly. My husband loves to off road. Usually my poor puppies are sliding around the backseat holding on for dear life. But with this booster they set up high they could see outside they were safe secure and happy the whole time. They didn’t even want to get out once we reached our destination. It is not just our dogs who love the booster seat, a friends dog came to visit got in and would not get out of the seat. Highly recommend this booster. Would definitely buy again.

I’m giving this a “3 star” in hopes that more people will read this review. In fact, It really deserves 2 stars because it simply isn’t safe for a car. Please read on: We bought this car seat specifically for our golf cart, but with the thought that we might also use it in our car at some point, replacing the current car seat we use. The seat is comfortable for our two miniature dachshunds (about 15 lbs each) although we added a cut "noodle" to cover the three edges which are otherwise just a metal frame with a thin fabric covering. However, I would NEVER use this car seat in our CAR. Within just first week or so, in a golf cart that can go max about 25 MPH, and with a 15 lb pup, the hook on one of the straps bent, then broke. As you can see from the photo, we're now using a carabiner clip. But even with a carabiner clip, I wouldn't trust the straps themselves, which are attached to the (plastic) back of the car seat, to keep your furbaby safe in a car collision, or even just slamming on your brakes. In short, I would NOT recommend this booster seat for use in a car if you want to keep your pets safe.

This is a great car seat for a small dog or even two. It is like a child's booster with a dog bed on top. It is expensive, but for me it was worth it. One side is soft which I did find unusual. The sides are not soft, but my maltipoo will rest his head regardless. It fits in the back seat of my car, but it can be hard to get the seat belt around it as it is quite wide.

My chihuahua loves this booster. No word of lie before I got this she hated going for a drive as she'd get car sick, now that she can see out of the window and look around she's always wanting to go for a drive. Recommend to all dogs.

This is great. My two chihuahuas sit in it together with plenty of room to spare. ( 3lbs and 6lbs) The seat actually comes with 4 harness clips. 4 dogs of the size of mine could fit. It was very easy to install. It would be very easy to move to different cars if that was required. Very pleased with this purchase. Looks just like the photo.

Love this booster seat for my 2 yorkies. They have plenty of space for both of them to lay down and it's high enough for them to see out the window. Definitely worth the money.
