Can these be worn in a swimming-pool or are they solely for use in the sea?

This is a good question. I would say use them in the pool to assist with buoyancy and allow an easier kick than using a pull buoy. I use them in the pool to give a similar buoyancy to being in the sea without a wetsuit and wearing regular trunks.
