Fantastic screen and performance
I spent months researching monitors and am delighted to say I have found a fantastic one. I would easily buy another of these, especially on sale. Currently, I have this hooked up to my old gaming laptop and Nintendo Switch until I get my PC, so I will update this review to detail any improvements and how well it works with my PC when I get it. Colour: Visually, this monitor is spectacular. The out-of-the-box colour was gorgeous, and I didn't notice any colour tints. The screen is definitely on the warmer side as opposed to my laptop's screen which has a cool wash over it. However, I think that just creates a great depth of colour, as you would expect from an IPS screen. I was initially torn when I was buying monitors, as I play a lot of story/visual games and I know that VA monitors have better contrast than IPS ones. However, I think this monitor delivers despite the lower contrast ratio to VA panels. This monitor has really brought my games to life. Some games will need their settings tweaking to get the full experience before you game, however, I think this is a small price to pay for great quality. I had to manually go through to select higher graphic settings and match the screen size, but this was to be expected. Size: This 27-inch panel is the perfect display for work and gaming: It has transformed my gameplay from my switch and 16-inch laptop into something immersive and breathtaking. It fits well on my small desk, and the stand does not take up too much room. Brightness: This is something I was really concerned when choosing a monitor. I have two windows in the room I work and needed a monitor that would be bright enough to withstand the glare coming through them. Suffice to say, this monitor delivers. There is very little glare on this monitor, and even so it is hardly noticeable. What's more, I don't struggle to look at dark games/movies any more- thank god! Adjustability: This monitor is incredible in terms of adjustability. Not only can the display move up and down, but it can tilt up and down, side to side and completely rotate! I imagine this would make a great second monitor too. Performance: As mentioned earlier, I have only tested the performance on an old laptop at 120hz and my Nintendo switch, so haven't tested the full capacity of this monitor yet. However, from what I have seen, I am still very impressed. The visuals are smooth. Even in fast-paced games, I haven't suffered from any motion sickness, and have yet to experience the dreaded black smears. I will update this when I have tested it with my PC, but so far so good! Cons: These cons were not enough to put me off wanting a second monitor like this, however, I understand people might prioritise these more so here they are: No speakers: To get any sound I'd have to hook this up to a Bluetooth speaker or use the sound from my laptop. I imagine the idea is that you'd have it hooked up to a PC with speakers, however, if you are looking for a monitor with the capacity to emit its own sound, this is not it. No audio port: A little disappointing as having an audio port in the monitor would have been very convenient. No USB ports: A bit inconvenient but not the worst Overall, I think this a great monitor, and even better if you get it on sale. I think it is a great entry-level monitor that doesn't overcharge its worth. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience working or gaming.

Perfect monitors for gaming and everyday workloads.
Excellent gaming monitors. You can't go wrong for this price. They have a slim bezel so when you have two together there is minimal gap which is nice. The Dell software to run them is also good. It's not necessary but saves having to reach around the back of the monitor for buttons - especially when two together. I didn't want two 4k monitors as I didn't want to put too much load on the GPU which would cost frame rates. This resolution is perfect for gaming at this size (27").

great monitor
I think this monitor is great. good colours fast refresh perfect for gaming at a relatively good price. even though I bought it for £299 and its now on sale for £209 which kinda hurts but for anyone else that makes it such a steal. I would defiantly recommend it. I am coming from a 1080p laptop screen but I do have a 4k tv for console gaming. (HDMI 2.1 up to 144hz is fab for consoles) I cant see what the bad review which people seem to agree on is all about I haven't experienced any of those issues. this will be a great starting monitor for me until I finally build my gaming pc and then eventually move on to a 4k monitor but 1440p is a great middle ground with those affordable high refresh rates unlike 4k atm.

Quite impressive
I bought two of these to finally make the jump to 1440p having been on 1080p for years and the difference is brilliant. The monitors themselves are great with decent colour, and frankly great features for the price. The combination of HDR, IPS, 165hz and 1440p at this price is pretty hard to beat. A small downside, but likely to be expected at this price point is there is a small amount of back-light bleed noticeable when the screen is on, but showing an all black picture. This doesn't really bother me so much, but worth mentioning as this might be commonplace.

Be ware of the power cable stability.
I am not a gamer; so my needs are humble. I have had the screen for more than a year now. It does what it should as advertised, and i have no technical issues. However, the main annoyance is the power cable connection, it acts as if it is held by a thin wire inside, it just keeps disconnecting. It doesn't fall off, just disconnects, and I have to manually keep aligning it until it connects again. I have seen many reviews around this issue, but I thought it is about proper desk organisation and keeping the wiring in a safe space. I was wrong. I can't imagine that at this day and age I would complain about a screen wiring, let alone that it is a good brand name.

Great screen
This is a very good IPS gaming monitor in large part down to the screen coating. It is still matte but not as obvious as other IPS monitors I have used. It provides the panel a premium look that, when added to the superbly accurate sRGB mode, great response times, minimal input lag and great viewing angles make for as good and gaming screen as possible for the price. (I paid £199.99). I recently returned the ASUS XG27ACS, due to the heavy matte coating. I loved everything else about the monitor but the coating dispersed any light in the room over the screen, washing out the image. This seems every bit as good as the ASUS, but with a better screen coating. Very happy with my purchase.

Great image quality but poor connectivity
Impressed with the image quality in this monitor, it has great contrast for an IPS screen and good colour accuracy which is perfect as someone who games and dabbles in photography. However, the monitor I got has a green stuck pixel slap bang on the middle of the screen I've not been able to get rid of. The display ports do not work (I've tried my pc, my switch, my ps5 and my steamdeck, only the hdmi port works). In addition there's no audio jack port to plug in speakers, and no built in speakers, making this a horrible monitor for a multimedia setup. I will be returning it and getting something else.

Guter Monitor
Besitzer von 2. Kann mich nicht beschweren. Die Bildqualität ist super. Leicht einzustellen.

Great 1440P 165Hz @ a great stable price
This monitor is such a uncovered gem amongst the 165hz-180Hz @ 1440P. Many tech reviewers miss this one out since the likes of Alienware AW2724DM, Gigabyte M27Q-P and MSI MAG274QRF seemed more "enthusiast" gamer aesthetics and branding or KVM push for office and gaming dual use. surprisingly this dell G2724D is a no fuss and no frills stable and accredited model. G-SYNC compatible verified (on Nvidia G sync focus webpage), 165Hz refresh w little ghosting, stable high refresh performance, accurate color out of box with little need to calibrate using proper colorimeters. In addressing the use-case of a KVM, a USB-C - Display port cable is given in the box for you to connect up ur laptop. since it has 2 DP ports, the 2nd DP port can connect to your gaming rig GPU. with a set of dual mode wired/wireless gaming accessories, you are good to go with toggling between cabled gaming and wireless office use. the setup is much cleaner this way without +2 USB cables out of the monitor for the KVM functionality to the 2 PC points. be wary of Gigabyte M27Q-P with the older rev having KVM switching issues. i highly recommend this fuss free and less gaming type monitor model of dell if you game casually up till enthusiast + you do a day job that requires WFH. i believe they use the same panels and hardware as one of the alienware gaming models. AMD users can be rest assured of the FreeSync premium. I rock this with a 6700 XT and AMD optimized FreeSync works like a charm after enabling variable refresh rate toggle in Adrenalin driver suite. i haven't gotten a nvidia gpu to test it. but i think Monitor Unboxed Tech youtube channel have videos explaining how to enable for Gsync.

A decent monitor for a good price
Got this when it was around $370, which I researched was a good price for this monitor. Doing the job very well, especially playing games like Risk of Rain 2 on ultra, and the adjustments of height and axis is great. Definitely get it when it's on sale, it'll be well worth the price
