Recommended by a diesel mechanic.
Good bang for the buck. As good or better than OEM for the micron filtration. Convenient pull strap for easy removal. Used them for the last 20 yrs. and never a had any issues.

Quality part by a well-known manufacturer
Not a whole lot to say - it fits perfectly and does exactly as it's supposed to. The old filter was a bit of shore to get out but this went in without a hitch. One of the best rated fuel filters you can buy for the Cummins.

Works with my RAM 2500 diesel truck as advertised
I gave this product 4 stars because the manufacturer eliminated a small post on the top of the filter in this iteration of the product. It will be a bit more difficult to pull the filter out of the housing on the next change since I won't be able to easily grab it with a pair of pliers to pull it free. The filter fits tightly on a tube in the housing and it does take some effort to pull it free.

Compare the o rings
I have always liked Baldwin filters. I think they're great filters. I have put a lot of miles on diesel trucks using Baldwin filters. But this last one I ordered through Amazon the new O ring was a lot smaller than what was on the truck as the pictures show. I didn't pay attention to this when I changed my filter and it cost me lots of time and money for a mechanic. The thing is it didn't leak at first. I was about 40 miles away from home and it started pouring out. Everybody is wanting to go cheaper on products but this one thing that can't be smaller or thinner. Probably won't order filters anymore. I want to see what I'm getting after this expensive deal.

Fuel pressure dropped off
Fuel pressure dropped off 2 lbs after only 2000 miles so went back to Cummins

It's not only better priced than the OEM filter
I bought this filter for my Dodge 6.7L diesel truck. It's not only better priced than the OEM filter, it's superior in quality and has better filtration capability (5 microns). I'll be buying these from now on.
