ZIWI Venison Dog Treats & Chews, Single Protein, Air-Dried, 2.5 oz

They are only about 5 inches long for the thicker version but my dogs really loved it the first day It has a healthy casing the dogs freaked out over :) The second day only one dog keep chewing... They don't break down which is great but there is a joint that comes off about 1'' and 1/2 '' that you should keep an eye on to make sure they don't swallow whole...

This is a very solid purchase because the full shank is impressive. My dog loves it and it keeps him busy longer. I feel good knowing it's all natural, ethically sourced, and has no added junk. It promotes dental health, which is a big plus. Overall, happy with this long-lasting treat for my dog.

Girls love these so much that we have a subscription! However, every shipment varies in size. We buy two at a time. I’ve read others' reviews. I agree that some of the products seem smaller than the descriptions. I did measure; I should have posted. The products varied by a few millimeters. I will update you with my next order. Update: Picture posted.

Over the past 6 or so months I’ve noticed the venison shank chews just keep getting smaller and smaller while the price stays the same. It’s ridiculous. I understand it’s from an animal so there is going to be some size discrepancy but they are consistently getting smaller. This last batch was flat out tiny (larger one was from last order, and I thought THAT was on the small side). Spending $15 on a chew that lasts 5 minutes is crazy, so although my dogs love them they’re just not worth the cost anymore.

I first bought this bone at a local pet food store who assured me it was safe for a puppy. We gave it to our 3 month old pup and she LOVED it! I'm not sure how long this is supposed to last, but she loses interest after a couple of days. Four stars for the price when it only lasts a 2-3 days, but we love this product. She eats the outer layer in just a few minutes but there is still stuff attached to the bone that keeps her occupied. So far she has very clean teeth.

Alright, the outside is some kind of trachea . Disgusting, right? Well, my 11 month old golden just loves it. Besides, the full bone is longer (thus, she feels like it's a bigger prize) and has so far lasted all week. Keep in mind, the trachea thing was gone within 30 minutes but then she got to work on the rest of it. So far no pieces have broken off or chipped. I take that back. There's a knuckle part (or rounded joint part) that I took from her when it came off but that's it. I can see making this purchase again since it's proved a worthy investment. Really, the only reason I got it was because Ian Dunbar recommended the ZiwiPeak dog food (which I'm incorporating into her diet) so saw this on Amazon as related product & probably a healthy taste for her.

My dog loved this the first time I got it a few months ago, but this time she has not touched it. I don’t know what the problem is. She IS a finicky eater, but if she likes something, she might tire of it for a while and then go back to it. She ate the first one right up, but I’ve had the second one for 3 weeks now and she won’t go near it.

Don't get me wrong my dogs love these bones. But being that they are so small it's a 3 " maybe? Not worth the $12 price tag. I also have very big dogs and it took about 5 minutes to finish them. The texture and smell were fine no problem the appearance like I said really small. My dogs do not get diarrhea after chewing on these. They seem to be a good quality good ingredients the appearance is good for the three inches of it .I would definitely get it again if it was maybe half price.

My two toy poodles absolutely love these treats. I like them, as they don't smell or make a mess. They last for ages.

she really like it (bullterrier 4yo).

High quality. Very expensive.

I have a Bull Terrier so, he has a seriously strong bite. This has endured many hours of him chewing it for well over 6 months and it's still in good condition, no smell to it and it obviously tastes good as my dog loves it. Highly Recommended
