I bought this for a camping trip and it was a reasonably good buy. The material is really sturdy and is made well, with several straps to keep it on the top of your car. It obviously helps if you have roof rack bars to secure it to and there are a lot of straps that need ratcheting and tightening to place on. You must ensure that there are no loose strap ends when you get moving otherwise they will be bashing against your windows when you gain any sort of speed. The pictures indicate that it almost box like, but you need to pack it out this way. The product is actually flat and you fill it with the things you are transporting, so you should evenly pack it into a box shape or you will make it look uneven and odd. The tricky part is you can't load it and then place it on a high car as it would be too heavy and cumbersome to lift on to the car, which means you need to strap it in place and climb your car to pack it from the bottom entrance. Overall, it is not something you could really leave on your vehicle and should only be used when needed. It serves the purpose well for camping trips. Overall, it does everything you need it for and is waterproof. The additional Velcro fasteners ensure that the zip areas are well protected from the elements. Also, the customer service of this supplier is off the charts helpful and are really dedicated to helping customers with any questions or queries. I would certainly look to use this store for any other camping requirements I have going forward.

This roof bag it great! I got it to replace an aging roof box that I had for many years, and was hoping it would be a suitable replacement. I did not disappoint. The straps are sturdy, the capacity is great, it was soooo easy to install, and it is waterproof (we drove through a biblical scale downpour and everything remained dry. I got soaked with seconds when we stopped in it!). It was really easy to take off and put back on so we didn't have to drive around with it on the whole time we were on holiday. It is definitely worth every penny.

Delighted with this, so spacious. Carried a 20kg suitcase and 4 10kg along with all my camping gear. Drove in the rain and everything was dry when we got to our destination. Easy to assemble and take down. Good buy. Would recommend

Brilliant for camping and throwing loads of junk in when we go to the beach, we have driven through downpours and everything stayed dry, just remember to pull the waterproof flap over the zip!

Brilliant quality and deal. It's bigger than I thought, which is a bonus. Perfect for all of my camping stuff and freed the boot space up. Waterproof and can be used with or without roof bars. Instructions were easy to understand, with removable straps

Excellent product. Well made and a good size. Fitted car really well and didn’t move at all during the journey. I didn’t use the door clips but used all of the other straps to secure to the roof rails. It would have been better if the straps were fitted with ratchet tighteners as it was a bit time consuming adjusting the straps to fit. I didn’t put heavy items on the roof as I didn’t have the strength to lift them onto the roof, but I did fill the bag to its capacity. I would not put valuable items in it as I think it would be easy to break into when left unattended compared to the hard shell type of top box. However, it was very easy to use, affordable and I would recommend this product.
