Q: Is this a good spring and fall coat for Ohio or is it too warm ?

It’s a good spring and fall coat for Maryland, comfortable between 35 and 55 degrees for a brisk exercise walker. Maybe 60 for running errands, light strolls.

Q: My pear shaped body has 50” hips and my chest is 37”. What size should I get?

I’m a bigger size with very curvy and pear shape also with larger hips; this jacket is true to size and extremely accommodating to those of us with pear shape. I ordered my normal size which is 2XL and it fits absolutely perfect and is not tight around my hips, with room, unlike every other jacket I have tried. The drawstring waist helps with this type of shape. I would suggest ordering exactly your regular size or going by the size chart. I can’t say enough good things about the fit with my similar shape. I think you will love this jacket!! Best wishes!

I am extra large and it was roomy enough for a lightweight cardigan over a shirt. Not anything heavy
