ATEN US Robotics Low Profile Internal PCIe Modem

Received today and fitted it this evening. Switched on and then went to configure - couldn't work out why I could not. Then realised that Windows 7 (64 bit) had done it all when I was re-fitting the case screws!Have successfully set up a Dial-Up connection I use in the wilderness (heavens above, slow when you have become used to 40Mb connection) and sent a Fax to an unsuspecting friend, I can only say it is great!I realise now that I should dust out my PC more often :-(This product easily does 'all it says on the tin'.Highly recommended.Adrian

It did not come with a UK compatible lead, this is not America, your leads do not work in our sockets. Other than that it worked well and is sending faxes without issues.

This device is working as expected under Win7 x64.Windows installed drivers automatically and the device was ready to go.The connection is fast and stable.The product is of very good build quality too.If you need classic modem I highly recommend this one.The only thing to note is that device doesn't have a speaker so you don't hear what's going on the line during dialing.I didn't explore this issue further because modem works perfectly for me but it is something to be aware of.In summary, great product that does it's job great, simple installation and good build quality.Clean 5 stars from me.

Purchased for a friend who still get's the occasional fax and who's dedicated machine has come to the end of it's life. A doddle to install, open side of computer, installed card, turned computer on and before getting back in seat WIndow's 7 had installed the drivers and we were ready for a test. As yet still haven't figured out how to send multiple pages and the setting up was a bit fiddly but still an excellent purchase if you need a fax machine.

Causes internet to drop out if used with an ADSL broadband connection.

Cheap as chips and dead easy to install. Haven't tried to receive incoming yet but outgoing is fine. Can't add any more to what's already been said except to say that Amazon were their usual highly efficient selves in fulfilling my order in a timely manner.

Fully comparable with win 10... good if you want to send faxes... no one uses dial up internet anymore!

Well packed and made installed with no problems had DVD with driver working well for use with Fax program.
