Proper way to make Mushy Peas
Forget the tin stuff with all the salt and additives, buy these, soak over night and off you go.

Very tasty if you like mushy peas.
I can buy these in a can by the same brand. But wanted to try them freshly cooked. They are very good. A little more trouble but a nice addition to bangers and mash.

First time trying mushy peas
I've known about mushy peas for years and finally decided to try some. Time consuming but they were really tasty. I'll definitely make them again. They have to soak for 12 hours so I got up at 5 in the morning and poured boiling water on them so I could cook them with supper. Takes a good 30 minutes to cook too. The soda tablets are included which was nice. I thought they were bland on my first taste but after I added sugar, salt and butter it really brought them to life. I have a new friend in the UK and she says she only buys canned mushy peas. That would be nice so you don't have to wait all that time.

Good
Worked perfectly for what I wanted them for so I can’t complain

Wasn’t packaged well. The boxes were crushed and the peas were rolling around in the bag.

not necessarily “bigga”
quality is good but the “bigga” size is not.. 250 grams is pretty small portion.. so you may need 2 or 3 boxes.. amazon ships in a mailer so box was crushed down…
