I love this straightener!! It only takes one pass on my fine, color treated hair and makes my hair extremely shiny. My hair is silky soft after using. I like that the cord is long as well. The auto shut off is a great feature but I have never had an issue turning mine off after use. The temperature is consistent as well. I tested the humidity while out last night and it did become a little frizzy but not bad. I’ve finally found the perfect straightener that does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t snag my hair at all.

I have used my old Remington flat iron for 2 years and it died on me. I used my friends CHI on vacation and was impressed by the quality, hers is 5-6 years old. CHI was recommended me to by several friends because of the quality and long lasting use. I love that this flat iron is dual voltage for travel. I ordered the CHI original and CHI G2 To compare, the only difference I noticed is the G2 has an 11 ft cord and the original has a 6.. I prefer the shorter cord. Also the G2 has color coded settings which I don’t believe is necessary- it’s just a selling point. Both flat irons heat up fast and work great however I chose to keep the original because it is a ceramic plate which is less damaging to hair over time. The G2 has titanium infused plates which can be drying and damaging to hair. My one complaint would be that I wish it had a lock feature for storage. I did reorder this on target because it was $50 cheaper… Overall I am happy with the CHI and looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it!

This hair straightener worked well on a trip overseas. It does not “burn” my hair and actually makes it feel healthier for daily use. It may seem smaller but doesn’t feel that way when I use it. I can still make gentle waves and curls the way I want them, too. Very good portability, easy to pack. Good value and durability. I bought a second one. I don’t want to be without a great hair straightener!

Chi is a classic hair straightener. It heats up quickly, straightens very well and does not leave my hair feeling dry or damaged. It's lightweight and easy to handle. I like that you can control the heat.

This flat iron heats up quickly and glides through my hair beautifully. It has many heat settings, but 350 is what was shown on the display when I unboxed it, and it is the best setting for my hair. I think the price was fair for the quality of it. I recommend it.

Most of the time I give up the fight and let my hair stay in it's naturally curly/wavy nature, and other times I want it smooth up in a ponytail, or clipped back from my eyes. Those days I want it more smooth and sleek this comes to my aid. I usually use some form of heat protection spray before I straighten with this. It is easy to use and I really like that it has adjustable temperatures and an auto shut off. It's compact enough and I can just wrap the cord around the body to store it in a drawer (after it's cooled down).

Ce fer est super. J’en avais acheté un pareil avant et il m’avait duré au moins 10ans. J’espère que celui ci durera aussi longtemps. Il chauffe vite et lisse les cheveux facilement. Le résultat est parfait.

Good quality straightener - heats up fast with multiple heat settings including a memory button. I like the reminder 'beeep' when it's reached the heat setting I selected. The tangle-free cord is appreciated as is the auto shut-off.

What can I say? CHI is the OG in flat iron. It did what it said it would do. Its the newer digital model it can go up to over 400 but it starts at 392.
