BALDR Weather Station Wireless Indoor Outdoor, Digital Colorful Thermometer with Atomic Clock, Wireless Home Weather Station with Barometer and Moon Phase

I bought and returned two weather stations from two very popular big brand names! Was very frustrated with the fact you couldn't see the full color screens unless you were standing close to the unit and looking straight on. Both units cost more than the Baldr brand. I watched reviews of some weather stations on social media and decided on Baldr brand. Glad I did. Easy to set-up and use. Fairly accurate temperature and weather prediction. The full color screen is very good. I can read it from a distance and at an angle. It looks best straight on. But is way better than other brands. It does take several days to gather information in order to start accurately predicting your weather condition as indicated in the instructions. Overall, very pleased with my purchase! Will buy Baldr brand again!

This weather station has an easy to read screen for about 10-12 foot distance (for my senior eyesight), and is easily visible from an angle. It was fairly easy to program by following the instructions. It seems to be very accurate, as I compared one that I have had for a while and this one is more accurate. I have the remote sensor located about 150-170 feet from my house and it stays connected. It has a small battery that comes with that restores your settings if the power goes out, which is a nice feature. I feel this weather station provides good value for the money.

This unit provides indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and agrees well with other temperature and humidity sensors I have purchased. This unit also has the ability to use the WWV signal to set the time and date, but the receiver is a bit weak and does not always work. You can set the time and date manually and it will attempt to update from WWV several times per day. There is a moon phase display that divides the lunar cycle into 8 segments. Unlike some other weather systems I purchased, this one correctly darkens the portion of the moon that is not sunlit. The only complaint I have is the barometer. This unit reads over 1" Hg below the local weather service station and does not appear to be adjustable. The pressure does change and seems to be a fixed offset from the weather service. I switched it to millibars (since the weather service reports inches of mercury) and just look at the relative changes. A nice unit that can be battery or 5 V powered using the included AC adapter. I am using a USB to barrel connector cable to power it from a USB charger.

This unit replaces a similar unit from manufacturer BALDR that we had for about 4 years. The outside sending unit failed on that one. We were unable to get a replacement ( I think the model was discontinued), so we got this unit as a replacement and we actually like it better. More readable and adjustable display and a bit more information including the barometric pressure trend chart. Also in certain areas it connects periodically to, I believe, a satellite readout that keeps the time very accurate. Anyway it seems to be a good solid unit that's easy to set up. We would buy it again for gift or another location.

I had read that a few of these units have some real accuracy issues, especially with the relative humidity. I guess I'm lucky because mine matches to within 5% of a calibrated unit I have access to. The Barometer is also right on the spot. When I corrected for my elevation above sea level, it matched the local Accuweather Barometer exactly. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this for a gift. The alarm won’t stop sounding. We have it turned of but it still goes off every night for numerous times. We have purchased this product before and loved it but this one is malfunctioning. Not very happy with the purchase.

It doesn't pick up the wwv signal but probably where I have it. It's in a camper. Pretty accurate-sometimes the temp is off a couple of degrees-not a big deal.

I really like all the features this "weather station" has. The HUGE drawback on this unit is its screen size. In order to read this screen easily, you will have to be very close to it. The multi color display makes it easier to read, but again it's a small colorful screen. Don't buy this if your planning on using the clock, unless you are planning on having it within 20 feet of you. In my opinion, because of its screen size, I don't believe the asking price for this unit makes it good value. A really big positive for this manufacturer and other companies should follow their example is the time they spent in doing the instructions. The instructions are well written and easy to follow to set up your "weather station "
