Stainless Coffee Pods Reusable Capsules Cup for Illy Coffeemaker (Stainless Steel)

These are great. I use coffee meant for a moka pot and not espresso, which is the grind size they recommend. A spoon is provided, just place the thin filter at the bottom, then one heaped spoon of your ground coffee. Tap the capsule on the table to level out the grinds, then use the back of the spoon to tamper the coffee. I find if you hold the spoon at the far tip of the handle, it should flex before you add too much pressure, compacting the grinds too much. The grinds should be flat and even.

These are good for use with the Illy machine and allow choice of coffee from the supermarket, albeit quite expensive

Very well engineered. They work well. A little more effort than plastic pods to clean them out and re-use but it keeps plastic use down. I use Illy ground coffee so it tastes great!

Coffee seems fine, but the item didn’t come with the steel tamper that is on its instructions sheet, so it’s a bit difficult to obtain the correct coffee press. There is also no indicator inside the pod to know the correct amount of coffee so it will require more testing to find out the correct amount. Not happy overall

Funciona perfectamente y el café queda igual que con las cápsulas originales, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que le pongo café molido de la marca illy, que se puede conseguir a buen precio en Amazon ya que casi siempre hay ofertas. En definitiva, no volveré a comprar las cápsulas originales, que encima son de plástico y más perjudiciales para la salud que el acero. Muy recomendables!
