Almost 2 years and still going
Iโve had this fan for 20 months now ! I was sure it wouldnโt last long for 35$ but maybe it could get through one brutal summer here in SW Florida . This fan has exceeded my expectations. I have this installed on my small 12x12 lanai. Cord was just long enough to have it installed in the center of the room . You can definitely feel a breeze and Iโve found myself using low quite a bit . It has 3 speed settings and they are noticeably different . It sure helps to move the air around. Ideally I think two fans in this space would be even better for air flow , but for now this gets the job done . I would buy again and hope they come out with a larger one ? Or one with a light ? Although I am completely satisfied with my purchase . Occasionally it does make some clatter when first turned on but seems to quiet itself down as it levels out and creates a small hum when even . It feels lightweight but thatโs probably a good thing the way itโs meant to be hung . But Powerful despite so. This saves me space on my lanai by not having to use a floor fan .

Quiet Efficiency: Mengnessly 28" Inch Ceiling Fan Transforms Outdoor Comfort!
I recently added two Mengnessly 28" Inch Ceiling Fans to our outdoor screen room, and I am thoroughly impressed with their performance. Living in an area where the climate can be quite warm, finding an effective cooling solution for our outdoor spaces was a priority. These fans have exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the installation process was straightforward, and the fans integrated seamlessly into our outdoor decor. The design is sleek and unobtrusive, making them a stylish addition to our screen room. The most remarkable feature of these fans is how quiet they are. Even when operating at full capacity, the noise level is minimal, allowing for peaceful relaxation without the distraction of a loud motor. Despite their quiet operation, these fans generate a surprisingly strong breeze, significantly improving the comfort level of our outdoor space. The versatility of being able to use them with AC 110V or DC 12V power sources is a bonus, offering flexibility in how and where we can use them. Whether it's a gentle breeze we're after during a quiet evening or a stronger airflow during the hotter parts of the day, these fans deliver. In conclusion, the Mengnessly 28" Inch Ceiling Fans are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living experience. They offer quiet operation, efficient cooling, and a sleek design, making them an excellent choice for any outdoor screen room.

The fan stops running intermittently
We received the ceiling fan on the 17th of July when we were living Williamsburg RV Resort. We arrived at another rv park and stayed a week. We came to Forest Lake RV park on the 30 and installed the ceiling fan. It worked great for about a week. Then it started shutting off automatically.I started looking it up on Amazon on August 15 at 9:00pm. I finally found a place where I could report it at 1:30 am. And was basically told itโs my problem

Surprisingly powerful
I purchased this fan because I currently cannot afford to hire an electrician to run the electrical line for a permanent ceiling fan through the attic. I have cathedral ceilings with an open floor plan which makes that quite difficult. The really good news first: This little fan is surprisingly powerful while overall pretty quiet. It is a lot quieter than my pedestal fan. I mounted it pretty close to where Iโm sitting on the couch because I wanted to actually feel the wind. I didnโt give it 5 stars because: 1. In the first and second speed (lowest) it emits a very high pitch noise. If your hearing is super-good it might be very bothersome when the house is quiet like it is for me. I cannot run it on low speed unless music is on. In the lowest gear it also has a low frequency vibration thatโs for some reason picked up by something in my ceiling and amplified. Double whammy. 2. When switching it on and off the motor literally wrenches on the little hanging loop to a degree that it works the power cord loose within a short time. I managed to get that under control by wrapping the hook and the loop in sticky insulation tape that gives and buffers the movement and tape down the power connector as well. Going up onto the ladder every couple of days didnโt appeal. Did I mention I have cathedral ceilings? 3. Note that it cannot reverse the direction for winter/summer. If you need that, this fan is not for you. 4. When first installing it make sure to push the blades in *really* well. Not just until you feel resistance but until you hear and feel an audible click. Then they will not come out as some reviews have claimed. Aside from those issues the fan is wonderful in the current high temperatures! Much better than my pedestal fans and using a fraction of the electricity those eat up. Itโs been running almost continuously for a couple of weeks and I love it.

No drill no wiring nice fan
Nice fan , very light weight, powerful, I hung it on my metal ceiling with a self stick hook. Very quiet, I bought a 2nd one. One remote controles both so They both have to be the same speed as I have them close to each other.

Short lived
When I first received this fan, I loved it and thought it was perfect for my front porch. It was easy to install and worked great...until it threw 3/5 blades! Yes, I had them installed correctly. One day, on medium speed, they flew off endangering me and my pets who were on the porch. I reinstalled them but ever since, the fan has not worked. It hums when I try to turn it on but will not turn. I have to add that I have only had this fan about a month. I'm not saying it's a bad product but I guess you get what you pay for.

Quick and easy set up
I put two of these on the front porch because my husband was caught in a loop of perfection paralysis on the idea of a more permanent fan. I just wanted to make our front porch usable in the summer. This was easy to hang up on a plant hook. The cord is long. Itโs been two years, and one just had the cord wrap around without me realizing and burned out the motor. The other is going strong. They are noisy to start because they kind of twist on the hook and make a clunk sound until the fan gets going. But once going itโs just the sounds of a fan. Big fan and will be replacing the burned out one now with the same fan.

Make sure you CLICK the blades in
Can't stress it enough when inserting the blades, it won't do the trick unless you hear the click! The remote is a bit hit and miss and the main spindle has a bit of a kick to it when activated or stepping the motor up or down so best to secure it tightly if using the hook. Provides a nice breeze in my gazebo making a humid day (near 30 degrees Celsius/86 Fahrenheit) actually comfortable. Other than that, it works - a decent product for a good price!

A very good, cheaper alternative fan
I purchased this Mengnessly 28" plug-in ceiling fan to go under my covered deck, and liked it so much, that I bought a second one. It takes the edge off in the heat, when sitting or eating out on the deck. I used an extension lead to connect the two together and you can use just the one controller to turn both of them on, if pointed correctly. There were two modifications I made to each fan. One was to put some padding around the hanging hook to ease some vibration and the second was to tape down the power plug into the top of the fan. I found that it would work loose after a while. Other than that, it works as it's supposed too and am very happy with the price of each fan.
