In most shoes I have to wear a 7 1/2 or an eight wide. I paid attention to the measurements and measured my feet while they were bearing weight, and I saw that the seven was going to be good for my feet. The chart said 9.6 inches, and my feet are 9.6 inches. I was deciding if I wanted to size up or get the size that my feet barely fit in. I decided to get the seven and see what happens. The chart said they were 3.6 inches wide. The shoes are indeed exactly 9.6 inches long. My toe comes within .01 inches of touching the end. They are not 3.6 inches wide, they are about 4 inches wide. Which is perfect for my feet. They seem to be well-made shoes And I really like the cover for the zipper. I wore them all day and I can tell you the sole does let you feel everything under your feet. So if you step on a pebble, you know you stepped on a little pebble. So I would not wear these and walk over gravel. They do offer a little more support than a barefoot shoe, so I don’t think they’re true barefoot shoe. But I am very happy with them. I really like them and if they hold up good then I’m going to order more. Even though I’ve wore them all day, and there’s no cushion or should I say very little cushion in the shoe, my back didn’t get stiff like it would have been if I’d been barefoot.Update: i’ve been wearing this every day for quite a few months. Feel very comfortable still. Have held up very well and have really good traction on the bottom. I only wish they had more cushioning. The zipper has held up very well it’s one of my favorite parts. Very happy with my purchase

I ordered my regular size 8, and for the most part they fit. I do have the same issue others have mentioned in that my toes do come to the very tip of the shoe. Ideally, I would like to have more space there, but I think they are going to work for me because they are wider in the toe box than my regular shoes. I feel that a size bigger would be too long and they would flop on my heels.Some reviewers have mentioned that these shoes look like clown shoes. Granted, the toe box is quite wide, but that is what I need to accommodate my old lady bunions and corns. I really do not think they are ugly. My arthritic thumbs do not tie shoelaces well anymore, and I think the zippers give them a younger and sportier look too.I also noted that many reviewers had issues with the zippers failing, so I checked that feature out first. One shoe zipper worked perfectly and the other was a bit glitchy. It may be coincidental, but when I looked very closely at the glitchy zipper I noticed several tiny bits of “fuzz” lodged between the teeth on one side. This appears to be part of the zipper manufacturing, bits of zipper fabric or maybe even glue. I carefully picked them out without too much difficulty. I have high hopes that this solved the glitchy problem. If not, and the zipper does fail, I will update my review.So far, these appear to be exactly what I have been trying to find. Having only just received them, I cannot comment on durability and I am still uncertain about toe area being too short, but I believe I have found my new favorite affordable, comfortable shoe.

I've been struggling with foot pain for 30 years. A bunion that makes me need a wider foot bed but narrow heels. Boughts of excruciating pain from stress fractures. The only time my feet feel pretty good is when they are bare and I get a couple of days where I'm not on them for more than a couple of hours. But that's rare and unrealistic. I decided to give barefoot style shoes a try to see if they'd help.Now, I am a paraeducator by day and work in a pizza place at night and on the weekends so these were getting a real test here. I wasn't wearing them every day, maybe twice a week from October-April. They took a little getting used to so they actually made my feet hurt more the first couple wears but once I got used to them I really liked them. I had better movement and felt like I had quicker, more flexible footing in the restaurant. They did, however, quickly begin to reek and needed to be washed multiple times (cold water in a lingerie bag, delicate cycle, then air dried worked pretty well).Unfortunately, the liners did not hold up well at all. My heels began to ache from the uneven wear and trying to find a good replacement wasn't happening. The zipper and laces were amazing quality though. Even the actual bottoms showed almost no wear. If these had come with packs of replacement liners or a way to buy them I'd have rated them a 5 and kept them. Sadly, they were too damaged and painful to wear so I'm back to regular sneakers.

I’ve been trying to find a good pair of sneakers for walking around at music festivals for hours a day and I think these are it. It’s always been difficult finding cute, wide shoes but developing a bunion has further complicated things. I tried replacing my old, comfy Vans with a new pair, and no amount of breaking them in is going to fix the pressure on this bunion. These shoes, however, are amazing. Absolutely no pressure on my big toe joints or my weird little pinky toe, and the top of the shoe wasn’t crushing the seam of my sock into my bones. I put them on the day after receiving them and worked 8 and a half hours with no pain. They’re also pretty slip resistant, because I walked through a patch of floor at work that had gotten slightly oily and had more traction with these than the nonslip work shoes I normally wear.I will admit that these things have absolutely no support, but to be honest, I’ve never had a shoe roomy enough that I could even use better insoles. The insoles of these shoes are super easy to remove and I’ll be replacing them this week.I initially ordered these in a 10.5, but they were way too big. I also tried two other brands and one of them looked nice, but the interior seams of the shoe sucked. The other somewhat resembled a black tie clown shoe. This show in my normal size was the winner.If you have ginormous feet, bunions, or are just tired of your toes being crammed together, I urge you to check these out, they’re cute, they’re not super expensive, and are genuinely accommodating of toes that need room.

These shoes are super cute and really comfortable, but the quality isn't the greatest. The zipper is pretty much useless. I have to pull the side of the shoe over with considerable force in order to get it close enough for the zipper to work because it's not very strong. This takes much more effort than tying the shoes. Also, the rivet on the top lace broke the very first time I put these on. I'm keeping them because I really like the color. The red is much darker than my pictures and its beautiful.

Pros: These barefoot shoes are very comfortable. The material is breathable letting air in. They say that wearing zero drop shoes help you build muscles in your feet that help stabilize you to be better balanced. Who knows, but these shoes are comfy. I looove the zippers on the side as it makes them easy to loosen rather than untying them (yep, I know, wee bit lazy on my part). They are also cute coming in different colors. This is my second pair. My first pair lasted 1 year. I walk a lot though, I walk twice a day with my dogs. In the winter, I wear boots, so these were not worn all year round. After a year, the bottoms started to get holes in the heels. The tread is good, grips the ground well.Cons: So, not sure that I can say they last long unless 1 year is considered good. Also, do not wear them in the rain. They will soak your feet with the breathable material on top. Then, they will stink to high Heaven.I still LOVE these shoes.

These are so comfortable that I wore them without realising that I had not taken them off until I was ready to go to bed. The zipper is great for me to take them off easily. Logically you should use the zipper for removing the shoes. It releases the stress because your feet change while you’re wearing them. Zipping them up creates stress on it because you don’t know how much your feet have changed since the last time you wore them. I have a gravel driveway and I didn’t feel any pain or connecting the brain I was walking on large sharp rocks. My feet actually feel like they are getting better with these rather than normal shoes. I’ve worn them in melting snow and didn’t slip or feel like they got wet. The soles have gone through a lot already and don’t look like they have worn out as others have said. Sizing for me was accurate. Too many older people don’t want to admit they’re not in the same shape as when you were 20 years ago. Especially feet. I’ve worn expensive shoes and didn’t like them because they crapped up within a year. Like my ferragamos. So I think if these last a year I’ll be happy especially since the price was so good. 😊 I’ve had people ask where I got the shoes because they look so comfortable. I told them the price of them and that they were for my neuropathy. Some told me their podiatrist wants them to pay $200for shoes that seem to be the same shoe. I’ve already gotten another pair and will probably get a couple more for back up shoes.

Seems like a solid shoe. They fit my quite extensive insoles without taking out the top of the toe box. It's wonderful.Purchasing new shoes to specifically fit my insoles hasn't been easy. This shoe delivers!I have narrow heels and ankles so there is minor slippage no matter how tight I tie the laces but the padding and type of fabric allows for little to no friction rubs. It just slides. So, absolutely doable so as to have access to the large toe box and easy zip access feature to pull my feet and/or insoles out.I will be looking for another pair and will most likely come back to this company.I'm an 8.5 and needed to size up for my big toe to have proper clearance lengthwise.

Shoes are amazing! Soft, comfortable, and excellent for short wears. Feet that have been squished up into shoes will take some time to go back into a natural foot shape! So I use these for barefoot “training” and hoping to transition into full barefoot shoes in the near future.
