Good Vice. Haven't tried beating on it , but it holds nice and the two mounting options are great.

This is a handy size clamp-on vice. Heavy duty and fairly well machined. Great for temporary set-ups where a permanent installation isn’t warranted. Holds the work steady. Mounts and unmounts easily. In short, easy to use and worth the money.

nice vice that does the job. my main goal was not to have to drill bolts into my workbench unless absolutely necessary. The clamp works well enough but cannot hold the vice in place for all jobs.

I am so impressed with the quality of this vise. It is sturdy and well made. It can be attached to your bench or it can be clamped to the table. The vise itself is separate from the clamp. The clamp is attached to the table and the vise is attached to the clamp with 4 short screws. Very cleaver. Its weight is impressive.

Bought this to use during wood working. Has a max jaw width of 4.5”, whereas most others on Amazon have 3”. Great vise, strong and stable.
