Flying Insect Trap (Blue)

Q: The listing has different color options (silver, blue, etc) but all the products look yellow? What is the choice of color for?

A friend of mine was telling me that different insects are attracted to different colors. In my experience we used blue and yellow in a greenhouse and it seemed like the flying insects were more attracted to the blue and crawling insects attracted more to yellow. Hope that helps

Q: What mn wavelength is used for the bulbs?

I don’t know the answer to that. This zapper was left on for hours close by but didn’t seem to serve its purpose so I sent it back and got the bigger one which was very effective at zapping bugs.

Q: I turned this on, but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there anything I should do differently?

Send it back. Mine works as soon as plugged in.
