Bought this leash back in 2024. This is by far my best and most favorite leash. It still holds up strong.My dog doesn’t pull much if at all but I do appreciate the feedback I get if and when she does or if she suddenly stopped to go potty because of the bungee aspect. I feel the leash stretch long before it becomes a tight pull giving me excellent control.I speaking of control, there is a handle in the middle of the leash which I often use when I take my service dog out and about and we get into crowded or tight spaces. Or, when going on family walks, I hold the middle handle while my 4 year old holds the end allowing me to make sure my kid doesn’t just get pulled around when my service dog is off the clock.Great value, great for training, good thickness, easy to use. I recommend it to everyone.

This works great and my phone fits in the zipper pouch. I do not use it hands-free as I am more comfortable holding the handle but it’s a nice option to be able to use both hands temporarily to do something like swoop the mail. Very durable and standard leash material. If I needed two I would get another one!

I have used this hands free dog leash for several months now. We have a 1 year old male golden retriever. He now weighs 90 pounds. I tried many different tactics while I was leash training him to correct his pulling behavior and spare my hands from the constant pressure from the leash. This immediately solved that problem. In addition, the bungee cord style leash really helped to correct his pulling. Not to mention I can now have both hands free and even walk my smaller dog at the same time. Finally, the included zipper pouch is a great place for spare poop bags, house keys, a cell phone or whatever else you may need to have with you on a dog walk. There is more than one way to connect the leash creating different lengths. The canvas handles are very useful as well for controlling your dog when passing other people, squirrels, dogs, etc.The leash itself and belt bag are made of very high-quality materials. They easily stay tangle free which is critical when walking and training more than 1 dog! I cannot recommend this leash enough!!

This leash is great. I have an 70lb pit/lab mix that loves to run and can be quite the puller. So going on runs with her can be quite difficult with her regular leash.So, when I saw the price on this leash, I decided to try it and see if this would work for us. It's a game changer for our walks/runs. First off, it's simple to use. It'll fit a wide array of body types. The leash itself is very well made. The material is thick and the stitching is well done. The double D ring in the waist belt put any fears I had about a faulty latch to rest. The two sections of bungee on the leash are quite well done also. So, would it hold up to our first test?Yes it did. I tested it in our garage first to get a feel for it. Then, we were off on a jog. This leash kept my arms free to keep them engaged while running, and gave my dog freedom as well. If she started getting too far ahead, the bungee kept her from pulling me too hard. The two hand grips were great for those times we had cars coming and I needed to control her more. Our walk went on longer and both of us got a great workout. The only small critique I would have is that the belt could be a bit thicker and padded. However, that's a nit pick that will not detract from 5 stars.In summary, this leash will change the way my dog and I do our walks/runs. The quality is great and the price point is greater! This worked so good, that I am writing this review while on our walk. If you've wanted to run with your dog and have had trouble with a conventional leash, I highly recommend it!!

I bought this 1 year and 8 months ago. I am a full time dog walker and have used it for every walk in that time frame. I walk large, strong, reactive dogs all the time. This has held up incredibly well. The buckle has never come undone accidentally, and just now, the fabric loop that holds the metal leash connected part has started to fray, only after all this time. This is a fantastic hands free leash. I am ordering a new one now since the fraying just started. Good quality!

I purchased this product because my fur baby, whom is a Siberian husky, is a puller and in some cases when his sniffer has locked onto something that caught his attention, he has the tendency to become an assertive puller. I mean to the point, I’ve noticed myself speed walking.In the past, I purchased a few different harnesses with leashes which would assist in maintaining control of his uncontrollable pulling. Unfortunately, those harnesses were not escape proof and the leash would either snap from the resistant pulling or he would knaw at the leash, causing it to be damaged therefore eventually…snap.In addition, when he pulls-the loop which secures around the wrist, would get extremely tight and uncomfortable to the point, after the walk, my wrist would be bruised.I have very sensitive skin and my pigment is very light skinned. At times my wrist would be black/blue or purple and the bruising would last about a week. This is very embarrassing.I had to find an alternative to still take my fur baby on a walk without hurting me. I searched on Amazon for a few days to find the right leash or at least come close. So, after an extensive amount of research, I decided to purchase the “IYO Shop Dog Leash,” which is remarkable and a life saver.I state this because the leash secures around the waist therefore no more bruises/injuries to my wrist.The product arrived on time in an Amazon box and inside was the waist belt, the zipper pouch, and the bungee leash. The items were neatly seated in a transparent ziplock seal storage pouch and attached was a thank you card with instructions for assembly.The leash is very durable, has an extra layer of padding around the grip handles, and can extend up to a maximum of 68 inches and a minimum of 51 inches.Some added benefits to the leash, they are available in an assortment of light colors such as blue, green, red, pink, etc. In addition, the white stitching glows in the dark, therefore it is easier to be noticed at nighttime.There are 2 padded handles which are reasonably spaced and I believe they are designed so if you want your pup to jog or walk close to you…they can.Another view, if you need to react quickly and redirect the dog or simply guide the dog across the street, the comfort is definitely there at hands reach.Lastly, the belt clip seems to be made or a stronger quality oppose to the ones in the hardware store.As for the zipper pouch, the dimensions are about 7 inches (width) and 4 inches (height).The quality in my opinion is durable and there is enough compartment space to safe keep your personal items and nothing will fall out. I typically insert my phone, earbud, dog bag roll, and keys.During my moments of running, if I need to make a phone call, reply to a message, or skip a song, I can do so with ease and reinsert my phone back into the compartment without any frustration. I mean this is genius because it an added benefit to reassure the purpose of having full use of your hands during the walk.Also, there is a dog bag slot which is located on the side of the pouch. This allows for quick and easy access to retrieve a single bag and not have to accidentally drop the entire when attempting to separate a bag from the reel. Therefore, when I pull the bag, it will cut on the serrated edges…pretty impressive.After removing the waist leash from the storage pouch, the product was very easy to assemble and adjust. At first, it may take a few attempts to adjust the waist strap to the correct fitment, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier and less frustrating.A little hint which helped me, there is an adjustable band located on the back. If you have the waist belt attached to your hips and you pull the clip to the right, it will tighten the fitment. Whereas, if you pull the clip to the left, it will loosen the fitment.Now, the back will feel very secure but the front will feel loose. In order to tighten the front strap, grab a hold of the hardened plastic fastening clip and pull away from your body. You will feel the waist strap get tighter and feel more secured to your waist.Keep repeating the process until you have a waist fitment which is firmly secured.For most, If you are the sole user of the waist band then you will not have to resize the waist belt. However, if you will be sharing the waist belt, then you will have to practice a little before perfection. Or you can purchase 2, size to fit them, and then you will not have to continuously keep readjusting.On the Amazon product description, it mentions the waist belt is 27 inches but can be adjusted to a maximum of 48 inches.After purchased this product, walking the dog has been so much easier and much more fun.In the winter seasons, you can keep your hands nice and toasty, inside your coat pockets.If you are a hiker and need to grab onto something stable to get up hill, you have full access to both hands.Or, if you just want to show some love to your partner and hold hands, you can while still enjoying the comfort of no more pulling from your fur baby.

Bought for special neighbor and she is very happy with it. She found the zippered pouch to be most helpful to hold her phone and identification. Especially likes the bungee as it makes running easier. Well made and extremely reasonably priced.

After 1,5 years , updated to 5*.The clasp just broke but the bungee is still perfect. Came to buy a replacement but no longer available. bought another brand and the bungee broke within a week, so now I appreciate this one.Original review: I've been using this for 4 months now and can say this is great for hands free walking, when I need to pick up poo or use my phone or whatever. The bungee is strong and stretchy and seems durable still after 4 months. The orange is a good colour to find in my boot or bag, and the reflective stripes are great.The only thing that I would improve is pouch could be bigger and the compartments better separated. It holds some treats, poo bags, and hand sanitizer at the moment, but the treats often fall into the poo bag compartment. Other than that it can hold my keys but theres no room for my iphone 12, but I'll survive, and overall the leash and belt are good quality.

What a great leash this is !! my friend recommended this one and we are so impressed with it. We have a 7 month old very puppy golden retriever and the waist leash and also flex of the band is so much less impact on our shoulders when she pulls. She has naturally started to stay near us in the past couple days after trying it and we are barely even holding on. So useful to go hands free ! The pouch is slightly smaller than I expected but just enough space for a few doggie bag rolls treats etc. I have already recommended to afew other puppy moms. Not just for joggers !

The bungee lead is great for my dog and I love the hands free waist band for running and walking. My dog loves it too because she can stop suddenly to sniff and neither of us gets jolted around!

Works great for handsfree walking of my 35kgs Bull Arab cross. One star off as I find the lead too long so I have to loop the first section in to the belt. Walking with lead in full tends to get under my dog’s front legs when it’s not extended and when the lead is fully extended, my dog is walking too far ahead of me. The most I’ll allow her to be ahead of me is half her body length. When I do jog, the shortened lead is perfect with my dog running alongside me or slightly behind. I recommend this product and I would buy it again.

My only regret either this leash is that I didn’t buy one earlier. I’ve been running with dogs for 10+ years and only recently found out about run soecific leashes.I’ve had this leash for over a month now and run with my 72lb dog with it at least twice a week and it has been awesome!The handles on the leash are great and the ouch is the perfect size to carry a roll of poop bags coyote spray (as I run on some pretty secluded single track trails and have encountered coyotes before) , and plenty of dog treats. I know others have had issues with tearing sbd wear and tear, but this leash has seen some pretty big pulls when my dog sees a squirrel or rabbit and shows no sign of wear and tear yet.I am very pleased and would recommend it.
