Impressive
Thought we would give these try especially at the reduced price I paid. I have to say that so far I am very much impressed. Easy to connect with your smart phone, a nice comfortable fit with encapsulation around the ear. The active noise cancelling is very impressive to say the least and great battery life. Sound quality is very good with plenty of options to change the equaliser or customise to your preference. Quality seems good, well made. So far I can not comment regarding the translation features but we do hope to put them to the test in a few months with a trip to Japan.

Great overall headphones, quality sound
Great quality sound, comfortable fit, and adjustable, nice design and holds charge really well. Has many uses including translation, taking calls and connects quickly to phone or tablet.nouse cancellation is also adjustable so these headphones are A good buy for the price. Definitely recommend, I have also purchased 2 other headphones by soundcore which is what made me choose the same brand, others are over ear ones so wanted something with noise cancelling and I'm very happy with them.

Noise Reduction is astonishing - Sound is not bad
I bought these in an emergency as I needed to travel to and work in a very big office with everyone present for an all hands meeting. It promised to be a very noisy location. As usual they arrived quickly and setup was straightforward. I can pair them with two devices so I can have musing from my phone and Teams/Zoom from my computer although I've never actually tested the latter because I caught Covid and never went to that big noisy office. Working from home, I have used them extensively for music and after some fiddling with the EQ I have something that I find works with my ageing hearing and eclectic library which ranges from Enya to Evanescence and Black Sabbath to Beethoven. You can configure and set multiple custom EQ profiles and the app comes with a dozen or so pre-set profiles, I found the built-in profiles to be missing too much mid range, they were all top and bass heavy, or they were very flat. There is also a custom hearing app inside the the SoundCore app that is supposed to help bring out the frequencies you can't hear and reduce those you do. I found it didn't work well, but I did have Covid at the time and maybe I need to retry this. Again, it seemed to drop all the mid-tones and raise the extremities. Despite having a satisfactory EQ now, I do occasionally find it somewhat "muddled" or "muffled". Its not as crisp and clear as my SoundCore Life A1 earbuds are, which were half the price. It's OK and they are comfortable on my head, fit well over the ear, but there is just "something" I can't quite put my finger on that is not quite right with the sound. Having said all of that, the noise reduction is astonishing in an £80 pair of headphones. I can hear almost nothing when in full NC mode. It also comes with both a speech to disable and a touch to disable functionality, so you can either start talking or touch the left earpiece and it will switch to transparent mode and stop the music whist you hold a conversation hen switch back. I needed the noise reduction more than the Hi-Fi sound, I'll be listening on trains, planes and automobiles or in noisy offices, the noise reduction is far more important to me and for that reason I am keeping them and saving the £250 extra it would have cost for the XM5 which I may buy another day. One note, there is no hard case for them. Nothing in the box and nothing I can see as an aftermarket purchase. That may be an issue of you travel with them a lot. There is a cloth carry bag in the box along with a very short (30 cm) charging cable and 3.5mm aux cable if you don't want to use Bluetooth - you should note that doing so removes the ability to use the Soundcore EQ so you'll need to download an alternate. All in all, i've given 4 stars, the product is robust, fits well is 90% there with the sound and has absolutely phenomenal noise reduction which competes with the best in the £300+ market as far as I am concerned. Improve the sound that tiny bit and provide a case and these would be astonishingly good.

Good reasonably priced headphones.
I purchased these headphones as they were on offer, and as I don't get on with earbuds I thought I'd give them a go. I mostly listen to audiobooks and they sound fine. Dolby Atmos sounds good too. The bluetooth pairing worked pretty much instanly Noice cancelling seems to work, but as I've no experience of noice reduction so I couldn't say if it's good or bad. Comfort is fine for long periods. The controls are easy to use once you remember where they are. I've not bothered with the app which lets you customise noice resduction. The battery life so far has been ok, and they charge reasonably quickly. So to conclude, I'm happy.

Excellent noise reduction headphones
Fantastic headphones. I’m sound sensitive and they have a wind reduction setting that works very well. Three settings on there for variable noise reduction down to full noise reduction. So comfortable too and the app is very handy for tweaking. Fast delivery and well packed

favourite headphones—great value for money
these are super comfortable, and not too large. the buttons are intuitive and easy to use. the noise cancelling could be a little bit better but for the price it’s more than worth it. battery life on these is amazing, i can use them for a whole week without having to charge and have taken them in flights etc and they have just been great. the sound quality is also really good.

'Tism says no good. - Disappointing ANC.
These are good quality headphones. The music sounded pretty good. The cushioning is very soft, they're very light and comfortable. If you don't have sensory issues, these will probs do you just fine. There is sound leakage and the noise cancelling was disappointing. I'm autistic and I was really hoping they would do a much better job at minimalizing background chatter. I found that turning the wind thing on or off in the app did not seem to make any difference. They defiantly quieten the world around you, but I wish they were more effective at doing that. I returned them as they don't quite do what I need them to. I felt the product details are misleading. I still could hear everyone's background chatter and could hear what people were saying multiple desks away from me. I had a different pair for years and these just didn't live up to them, in terms of noise cancelling, unfortunately the brand their from defiantly don't make them as good as they used to. They also kept turning themselves off after a few hours. I wore them at work so they wouldn't be playing anything, but they have a sensor to detect when you're wearing them, which seems to be utterly useless. I also wish I could just disable the transparent/ambient mode, as I am wearing the headphones to block out noise. I'd be checking that noise cancellation is on and bam it amplifies the outside noise. I don't understand why people want that, just take your headphones off. T'was hell on earth for my autistic ears. Why on earth would anybody want to make the outside world louder? (unless they're deaf). To clarify I found having transparency mode on caused ore sensory issues then no headphones.

Soundcore space one headphones.
Very much impressed by these Soundcore headphones ,did a bit of research before choosing these and reviews are really interesting tbh . The main thing for me as with most brands is the build quality they are well made and fit very comfortable, I think controls on the outer frame are much easier to use when wearing. Very well packaged and they have brilliant charge that last ages, the Bluetooth is very good too I can walk around to different rooms and no drop out from my phone. The main thing is obviously is the sound quality but like most reviews state make sure you download the soundcore app and set it up to your personal requirements with the graphic equaliser it makes such a difference than listening straight from the box. Controls took a day or two to get used to but are easy really and noise cancellation is options are great too. I love the option of placing your left hand over the outer cup to mute the playing of music so you can speak to someone in the room then continues playing from where you left off when removing your hand. Overall for the price these are great better than my Marshall, Panasonic,& Sony cans and I got these on Black Friday offer with a great discount too. You won't be disappointed for the price.
