Totally useless and perfect gift

Smaller than I imagined but perfect size. I purchased 2, 1 for each of my kids as I think this will be similar to the "fidget spinner" for them, they are 14 & 10. Almost had to buy 3, one for my husband as he was laughing so much watching review videos! Both work as advertised, very simple to set up, just insert 2AAA batteries and you are good to go. Comes with no instructions but honestly they are not needed. 1 is faster than the other when the 'finger' pops out to switch it off, the slower one is a little disappointing but still fun. It truly is an absolutely useless box, as advertised. It's really fun though, fantastic little gadget, perfect for gifting, especially for those hard to buy for people. Would buy again if the need arises.

I purchased this Useless Box as part of a Secret Santa event for a colleague at work. I had a plastic Useless Box growing up and this particular product looked like a great option that wouldn't look out of place in a professional setting. When it arrived, I opened the box ahead of time to install batteries (not included) and was surprised to see that the moving arm piece was askew at a surprisingly odd angle. I tried to capture it in the attached photos, but found that it was hard to capture. Regardless - after installing batteries, the arm was still able to hit the switch, so it all worked as expected... But that angle was quite the surprise (and not in a good way). Beyond that angled arm, I thought this was actually a pretty nice product. The wood is obviously pretty cheap, but it is polished up on the outside so it doesn't look that way. I also love the included snaps to help keep the lower half of the box closed while the arm comes to turn off the switch! I'll also mention that some people in their reviews mentioned the arm moving *super* fast - I didn't find that to be the case (certainly not fast enough to be a drawback!). At the end of the day, you get what you pay for - this is a pretty accessible price (which was appreciated given the $20 gift limit I had...!), but I do think that some elements can feel somewhat cheap. But the overall value is definitely there for the price paid!

works good, looks good. would be nice if there was a 1/4 second delay before the switch is pushed back (it pushes back immediately), but fine gadget nonetheless.

We ordered TWO of these boxes after the first one didn’t work, I've tried batteries that work on other things and I’ve tried to use the black switch in the inside, still nothing, this box was a little to useless.

Cheaply made and overpriced

I do not like it, but my nephew LOVES this!!! Clicks it all day long, and says that it is sooo satisfying.

Item works fine now but only after dismantled and resoldered.
