My ex wife had trouble keeping her pants on. Would this belt have helped with her looseness?

This belt would be more than adequate to hold up any pants. Although I'm unsure if it would help solve any other issues you may be referring to.

I have a full sized gun and i wanted to know if it would suport a owb holster without flopping around. Or sagging.

I use this belt to carry a Springfield XDS 3.3 in an OWB holster and it does not flop around, it is kept tight to my hip. The belt also stays exactly where I cinch it to and does not loosen. This belt is stronger and thicker than the 5.11 Tactical belts that I had previously.

can the belt be trimmed if too long?

Of course it can. I always order 2 sizes larger and cut to fit. I have 6 of these belts and all are easy cut to wherever you want. Just need to heat an old knife until red hot and it will melt right through. I cut to match the original configuration and also ‘wipe’ the last 1” on each side a little to make feeding through belt loops easier. These are GOOD, STURDY belts.
