Awesome collaboration and great quality
Great price for an iconic book, awesome poet & illustrator combination. Have spotted this on sale in posh shops for twice the price.

Lovely book for a gift for any child who likes to read
This was brought as a gift for my cousins little girl for Christmas. She is 5 and lovea reading and Maya Angelou is my favourite author so was a lovely ly introduction into Angelou's work. The illustrations were so complimentary to the poem too. The book is a nice size. The gift was very much appreciated

Beautiful, rhythmic and helpful.
Lovely book. The rhythm of the poetry helps young children read with the right cadence and the illustrations are glorious. Great way to help little ones talk about fear and overcoming it.

Everyone Needs a Little Maya Angelou
Ordered this for a baby shower gift. It is unusual for the child's book - full of dramatic, kind of scary pictures while reinforcing life is manageable. I love Maya Angelou. I ordered Phenomenal Woman for the mama to be. I thought the two books made a great shower gift. Most shower gifts are clothes and toys which are both lovely, but I knew there would lots of that. The first one that arrived was dirty and scuffed. Amazon exchanged it without issue.

Disappointed with the book, but the return service was super speedy and easy.
I read a lot of good reviews about this book, especially for kids. and Maya Angelou is one of my favourite writer. However, I miss her good work in this book. It supposed to be also educational for kids 4+, but didn't work for my kids expect the front cover page. Pity.
