What a great light fixture for the price! It's fairly flimsy but it doesn't really matter because once it's installed, it's not like you touch it. It is really nice and bright and lights up the whole 12x12 room nicely. It also dims nicely and can go between a very white light and more yellow white light. However, the remote is kinda quirky. Some buttons seem to do nothing (maybe for a more feature-rich product?) while others seem to do one thing and then do another, like they dim the light but then change the color temperature. So it's hard to know what button does what. You can still get things the way you want them eventually but sometimes I want to turn the color temperature down to very warm light and then dim for my daughter's bedtime. But after changing the color temperature, I start to dim but then the light jumps back to the high color temperature setting. Weird. But hey, you can't beat the price, the crisp, modern look, the light output, and features.

Really like the light, but it was a bit challenging to assemble. It looks great & the adjustments via the remote are awesome (soft white, daylight, etc.) I'm pretty handy, but it took me a good 2 hours +. Also there were a step or 2 missing in the instructions. Here are some things I did to get it together & up (no endorsements!) in addition to closely following the instructions. (I have repleced ceiling lights before, originally under the gudance of a skilled electrician.) 1) Found a clear desktop / table on which to assemble. 2) Instructions don't mention putting the 4 bolts in the bracket before mounting it to the ceiling. They kind of show in the diagram. I threaded the 4 bolts through from the "inside of the U" channel on the bracket so the bolt heads would be in the channel when mounted to the ceiling. 3) Added a nut on the other side of the channel (to hold the bolt in place) & tighted finger tight, I had to slide them. 4) Lined the bolt spacing up by putting the bracket on the black base & aligned the 4 bolts through the 4 mounting holes (holes w/out wires). Here, I used a little masking tape to hold the bolts in place until I could tighten so they wouldn't move. 5) Had to keep in mind power lines coming out of ceiling as the bracket is not open in middle. 6) The posts connecting the lights to the base were tricky to screw in. I had to be careful not to cross-thread. Same w the nuts on the posts-to-base. Had to wiggle back & forth a bit to catch. Spun freely once threaded. 7) I worked shortest to longest & that seemed to work well. 8) LOTS of extra wire in base. I used some electrical tape to neaten / tack it down in a few spots. Was worried @ them getting in the way when I mounted on ceiling. Also, assuming the 4 small zip ties are for this. 9) It took 2 of us to mount it on the ceiling as I needed 3 or 4 hands / arms to hold & wire / bolt up. I am not (!!) an electrician!! This is what I did, and there may be better, more correct ways. At the end of it all though, we really like this light. Would be 5-star if instructions were better.

Love the style of this light but I have to say that even with the dimensions listed, the size depicted in the pictures is a bit misleading. If you are looking for a fixture that will have a graceful span across your ceiling, this isn't it. Don't get it twisted, this unit lights up a room with ease and so far I would put it into the good value category. One recommendation I would give when installing, use a screw in anchor rather than the push in ones that are supplied. Also take care when assembling the light not to bend the base where the post attach. Overall, I am happy with light!

Beautiful but my husband installed the next day , stopped working. I payed all that money ,and for what ? Trash …..

Me encantó esta lámpara de techo. Tiene un diseño muy elegante que le da un toque moderno y sofisticado al espacio. Además de verse hermosa, alumbra bastante bien y la luz se distribuye de manera uniforme. Excelente calidad y justo lo que estaba buscando. ¡La recomiendo totalmente!

Argggh- well I didnt test it before I put it all together and installed it. It was a product return and I meant to test it. It shouldnt be sent back out without testing- but thats another topic. The kit came with parts from another unit and a splicing kit. Im wondering if the factory perhaps sent a new charge/ballast to the previous customer- which is the problem with this unit. After all the trouble to put it together, I have to disassemble and return. Anyway, assembly is a straightforward, certainly not a problem. Instructions are best found on the purchase site. A few tips on assembly- just take it step by step and it will come together. The machining on the threads is poor, and feels like the wrong nuts- but they will go- just keep gently turning it until it settles down on the threads. Try to align and bend all the rings into position when on the bench/ground. It is possible to adjust it by bending it some when it is installed, but not a lot. If you get it pretty close on the bench, it will look fine installed. It does look very much like the photos and is pretty sharp looking metal/plastic/lucite/LED lamp. The base and tube supports are durable machined metals. It looks nice enough i sure wish it worked!!! I will certainly think twice before ordering damaged box items from AMZ when they require a lot of assembly. A real waste of carbon as well :( The company did reach out to me to inquire as to the issues. Very supportive. It was just a bad ballast- overall a nice light.
