I’m a Michigander too, and I wear the men’s medium (as opposed to a women’s large). Great colors. Soft and seem to wear well. I’ve gotten navy, green (a nice slightly bluish dark pine green), burgundy for my husband and an off white for me. Very happy with them. As for the cut, a sweatshirt is a sweatshirt is a sweatshirt, after all.
