This oil is exactly the right viscosity and comes from the manufacturer, the bottle comes snap sealed so no fancy bottle with any old lubricant inside! This is the proper stuff and the instructions / correctly sized long cotton buds provided are sized to help you check the ball bearing is in place and cleans the bearing tube of old lubricant. For what it costs don't do DIY buy this.

Little bottle, only half filled !!!
Only half full little bottle of bearing oil. In my opinion totally overpriced!

Worked well on my vintage turntable
I used this to lubricate my Thorens TD150 mk2 which had been in a loft for over 20 years.The bottle contains enough oil to repeat the job at least twice more and the turntable now reaches running speed really promptly (and continues to rotate for much longer when the power is turned off).I felt it was difficult to decide which oil to buy for my vintage equipment as the original oil isn't available anymore and I wanted to buy something of high quality so I'm quite please that this seems to have done the trick.
