Steel Safety Pins Blanket Pins 4 Inch Extra Large, 5 Colors 10 Pieces

Just what I needed to use as stitch holders while knitting.

I found these very useful as I have started knitting adult cardigans, so use for a small amount of stitches.

Good & sturdy.. but if you want them for fine work be careful because where they open & close the paint is chipped off, so leaves them rough.. cheap & colourful though, does the job!

These big 'kilt' pins are very sturdy and in a lot of ways just what I wanted. I love the colours and I do use them, but I have to be careful of the fabric I use them with. They are rather blunt so I tend to use them with edge to edge large stich cardigans because either they wont go through close-weave fabrics, or would make a nasty hole. Such a shame - if the points were sharp they would be perfect.

These are good quality pins and I need them to piece together knitted squares for blanket making before stitching the squares in a required design. I have also found another use for them; when changing duvet covers (a chore I hate) I pin through the duvet and cover at each corner and my battles have now ended as the duvet stays put inside the cover. Know doubt I will find even more things to put these great pins too more uses, after all I have only had them two days! Recommended.

These do not come undone & hold knitting stitches well.
