StainStriker Portable Carpet/Upholstery Cleaner, 3 Tools, PX201

I watched a lot of videos comparing portable upholstery and carpet cleaners, and everyone agreed this one is the best value and top performer. They were right. For less than the cost of a car detailing, you can get it, complete with cleaning fluid and Oxy cleaner. I cleaned the front and back seats thoroughly, using the rubber-bristled tools to protect the fabric. Everything came clean in just two passes, using very little solution, and the dirty water was easy to see. My seats had stains, but now they’re spotless. Then I switched to the more aggressive bristle brush to tackle the carpets. First, you should vacuum them, as this tool isn’t a vacuum cleaner. It will clean your carpet, but in a different and often more thorough way than a vacuum. Minimal effort and two passes got my carpets looking fresh again. While it won’t fix spots that are worn away, it definitely makes everything look cleaner than before. The solutions have no harsh fumes, and the whole process is simple and easy. Even cleaning out the hose is a handy feature.

Pros: Incredible Suction Power: Most portable spot cleaners leave carpets damp for days, but the suction on this Shark unit is phenomenal. It aggressively pulls out water and embedded dirt from deep down, leaving couch cushions and car seats only slightly damp so they dry in a fraction of the time. No Manual Premixing: The dual-activated formula setup is brilliant. You fill one side with the Deep Clean formula and the other with the OXY Multiplier. The machine automatically fuses them together right when you spray, which completely obliterates old set-in coffee spills and pet odors without needing to pre-treat. Lightweight and Portable: At less than 9 pounds, it is incredibly easy to carry up and down the stairs, maneuver around tight vehicle interiors, or take to wherever an unexpected spill happens. Thoughtful Attachments: The included tools are actually useful. The pet mess tool does a fantastic job of isolating dirty liquid into a separate chamber, and the built-in hose-cleaning attachment makes flushing out the internal hose with clean water after a job incredibly easy. Cons: Small Dirty Water Tank: Because the machine is so compact and lightweight, the dirty water recovery tank is on the smaller side. If you are cleaning a large couch or an entire flight of carpeted stairs, you will find yourself needing to pause and empty it out a few times. Loud Motor: It packs a ton of suction power, but the trade-off is noise. The motor hums at a pretty high volume, so don't expect to quietly clean up a pet mess in the middle of the night without waking anyone up. Final Verdict: If you have pets, kids, or just want to keep your vehicle interiors and couches looking pristine, the Shark StainStriker is an absolute game-changer. It beats older, bulkier spot cleaners by a mile thanks to its incredible fluid extraction and automatic OXY mixing. It makes a tedious chore incredibly fast and deeply satisfying.

Our problem is an old dog who has accidents, and sometimes we don't find the right away. I can honestly say that this machine surprised me. I had a similar (blue) machine prior to this that was nowhere near as good. The combination of the two cleaning agents does the trick. The stain is removed and the odor is gone. It works on all kinds of stains. I even spilled a glass of red wine on an off white carpet and it took the stain right out. It has numerous cleaning nozzles for all jobs. You can disassemble the machine and get it really clean, which I appreciate. The cleaning solutions are pricy but they last a long while. It's small and lightweight enough to move up and down the stairs. I highly recommend this machine.

All I can say is buy it! I've been a Bissell house only but with having 2 of their products break down in a year, I decided to branch out. I was able to remove cat stains out of upholstery chairs that were given to me, dog urine and diarrhea out of a pet bed I thought was for sure a goner from my new rescue corgi and smells out of an old reliable recliner I thought would never come out! Only thing is I couldn't get the urine smell out of a carpet, so not sure how well it works for that. For upholstery cleaning though, 10/10!

This little Shark portable carpet cleaner is a workhorse! Don't let the size fool you. It works so well for spills or pet messes. Really cleans well and removes the entire stain from rugs and carpet. It's easy to take apart and clean after use also. A+ all around!

I bought this solely for cleaning my car and it did very good. I didn't experience any leaking while using it from either the cleaning solution or the dirty water tanks or any of the connections to the hose or unit. The tanks clip into place so make sure you hear the clip spring into place and you shouldn't get any leaks. The solution provided was enough to test it out and I am very satisfied with the cleaner and the solution both. Cleaning the machine before storing wasn't difficult at all. Just sucked up a couple cups worth of clean water and emptied the tank twice before airing it out and storing and no odour or anything. Great size to use anywhere.

Have had this for 5 months now and have used it a lot because of my senior dog. It has powerful suction for a small machine. Love the tool that allows me to suck up urine before actually cleaning. Easy to clean the machine and I haven’t had to refill cleaning solution (bonus-it smells good) yet. No more green machines for me which never lasted for long. I love it!

This has worked very well as a spot cleaner. When I come inside from gardening, my entrance can get a few stains from dirts that flakes off my shoes. I try to use caution. Remove then outside, bang the dirt loose, and other methods to reduce dirt, but inevitably when gardening or cutting grass something stains my beige carpet. This spot vacume does the job well. I have not had to refill the cleaning solution for several months of continuous spot use. no leaks or mess with it. Easy to use. Only thing, i would find some less costly replacement cleaning solutions as I find that that is often where real expense come in, like with printer ink. they get you on the comeback as we used to say in the streets. I would buy this again, it works..well.

Worked for 60s unplugged it ran through all possible fixes then worked for another 60s don’t waste your money very disappointed

They are selling this product for $600 and they are sending you a US device to Australia. When you can buy one in Australia for $199 that is actually an Australian product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!
