Easy Dental Care Boost for Pets
I started using Vetradent Water Additive for my dog’s dental care and it’s been a simple way to help keep his breath fresher and teeth cleaner between brushings. It mixes right into the water bowl with no noticeable taste or smell, and my dog drinks as usual without hesitation. I like that it feels like an effortless step toward better oral health. Tip: Change the water daily so the additive stays fresh and effective. Verdict: An easy, low-effort addition to your pet’s routine that supports oral hygiene and freshens breath without extra fuss. It is easy to use with an included cap for great functionality, high quality and good value for money. Especially great if you can get it on sale!

Freshens breath
At first I was skeptical about this product but my cats have been drinking it for weeks and I’ve noticed a real improvement in their breath. I offer one bowl with this additive and one fountain with just plain water and wash them out every couple of days. I recommend for sensitive kitties.

Pets don't hesitate to drink water with this additive
Max our cat didn't notice or didn't mind if there was any flavor change. But you soon too tell if it stops stop plaque build up. Dog Sam is also still enjoying drinking Max's water. :-)

Works well
I really like it and it seems to work on my dogs' breath but it leaves a white residue that makes me feel weird about it. It has no smell and I think it's a great price point for it

Slimy but worth it
My vet recommended this for my 17 year old cat with dental disease. She can’t go under so this is the only thing we can do to prevent any other illness. I gave it a 3 star review because: 1. My cat did drink it! 2. It made her breath smell so much better 3. My vet said she had been using this on her own cats for decades However, it did have some problems. I give her water through a fountain. Don’t put this in a fountain! I’m going to have to figure something out for this product. The fountain got insanely slimy after only 2 days of very minimal use. The white gunk is after 2 days. I went on vacation, cleaned it before I left, and when I got back 4 days later, there was pink bacteria ALL OVER IT. The slime allowed the water to be more habitable to bacteria and my cat has stopped drinking out of this fountain after one day of fresh water. She gets more water in it daily but with the product I’ve been replacing it ever other day or so just so we don’t run through the product too fast by tossing it down the sink. But never in my life have I seen the fountain grow pink gunk. Ever. And we’re talking 17 years here. Absolutely use this product but be warned for fountain users. It may be good to have a fountain of fresh water with no vetradent and then a bowl with it. Overall it’s worth it for her health but you have to keep on top of water changes. Disclaimer: my cat has multiple water fountains and access to fresh water daily! This is the only fountain I’ve been using vetradent for to see how it would go.

NOT safe for cats
This will off your cat! I have two cats ages 2 and 3. My 2 year old is a DLH while the 3 year old is a DSH. I wasn’t shocked at my DLH vomiting because he gets hairballs occasionally, but he was vomiting 3 days in a row which was alarming. My DSH vomited once and then I realized it has to be something they’re being exposed to because she is a not a puker and I honestly don’t recall her ever puking in her life. The only thing new they’ve been exposed to is this water supplement. I’m usually so diligent with ingredients, I trusted the reviews this time but never again. I feel so guilty for poisoning my cats.
