I’m Impressed
This kennel is pretty great. It exceeded my expectations bar far at the price point. Very sturdy build, easy to assemble, collapses fairly quickly for easy storage, easy to move on wheels, and just well made overall. I opted for the 48L X 30W X 30H which easily fits a large dog comfortably (Belgian Malinois, GSD, Husky, Golden, etc.). The additional pullout, fine grated wire elevated floor makes for easy-on-the-paws footing, even for smaller dogs (my 8-week old Belgian Malinois puppy loves it). And the black plastic pullout, bottom tray makes for easy mess cleanup. Really impressed with this crate. It IS large and does take up a good amount of room, so account for that. Otherwise, it is pretty perfect. This is not a sponsored review and I am receiving nothing in return for it. Just an honest review on a good product. Slightly pricey, but well worth it!

Impressive quality for the price
Just unboxed today; looks sharp, wheels work, sturdy (no shaking), smooth locks, easy to put together. Definitely fits our 65 lb Shepard. 👍 Will update review if any issues or changes to experience.

Larger Than Expected
Ok so I tend to be a person who likes excellence, and so much of the time these day I find myself wanting. So as I was assembling this I notice how the welds were only partially completed, some of the bolts just barley long enough and the wheels I thought were a little small or not heavy duty. When you step on the locking paddle they bend.I got the 48” long unit and it is to wide to go through our door to the garage or patio. This is an issue for cleanup if you need to take a hose to it. So I have installed lay flat hinges on the kitchen/garage door and that is no longer a problem.I currently own three dog crates or kennels.I have a large plastic one from Cabelas which is great and strong but no handles or wheels.Great to strap down in the truck but not really a daily use item. Hard to clean and move around.I got another crate from Amazon, really nice, but not for a strong dog and it was a little to light weight. My dog could push open the door and even bent it. When my dog would exit the crate she would send it into the wall even with the wheels locked.Ok back to Wokeen - and the build quality…I realized that this is built to meet the needs, most of the welds are spot welded, but, nothing is loose, the unit is in doors so I think it will hold up.The unit is just heavy enough so that it does not move around when my girl gets in or out.German shorthair pointer if that means anything to you.The brakes hold very well and although the paddle locks bend when stepped on they lock and unlock with easy by hand - meaning they weren’t made to be stepped on.If you have a plastic kennel you know that the fur sticks to the plastic from static and the oils in the fur.Not the case with this one. The kennel looks powder coated paint with a nice sheen to it. The fur does not stick to it.Clean up was easy, I took a hand held vac and used a 5 in wide upholstery attachment, vacuumed horizontally across the walls of the kennel and all the fur laying on the vertical and horizontal bars got vacuumed up with the littlest of suction.Although it looks like a doggie jail - Gray Bars Inn - it is roomy, airy, and the dog loves it.She can see us and goes in on her own and can stretch out.Lastly - she initiated the kennel.Cleanup was so easy. Let me say that again.CLEAN UP WAS SO EASY!I rolled the unit away from the wall, opened the lid, lifted the bedding out. There are two bottom “pans” one that is a grid and it sits over but separate from the catchment pan.I reach into the crate with the lid open and raised one side of the grid pan and it lifted up on its side and I wiped it down. I could have slid it out but did want to get fur in the room any more than I needed to.With the grid up I tossed down some clean up rags got the urine up and proceeded to vacuum the fur in the catchment pan. With that done I slid the catchment pan out, disinfected it with spray and a wipe and then proceeded to completely vacuum the unit as I described earlier. I really thought that I would have to wipe down the bars or spray it with a hose once a week to get the fur off.Nope - and after clean up it was back to together in 2 minutes. This thing is Awesome!

Easy assembly, strong and well built
My 80 pound Labrador Retriever destroyed a wire crate and a resin (plastic) crate within minutes, this one has kept her contained with no injury to her or the crate!Unpacking and setup with the included tools took less than 20 minutes. The crate is very nice with a powder coat finish, sturdy steel round and square tubing. After receiving it I had her in it for the first time for about 2 hours while I ran some errands. Checking on things via security camera, she tried out the entire crate for weaknesses for about 45 minutes and then apparently gave up and laid down. While trying to make her escape, she was unable to shift the crate more than a couple of inches with the wheels locked. With the wheels unlocked it rolls easily even with her inside. It is more spacious than either of the previous crates, airy and doesn't hamper her view. The large crate bed that I had purchased for the first crate was to large for the wire or plastic crate, coming up several inches on all four sides but fits this one perfectly. I also really like being able to open the top as well as the front door, both of which have secure locks and hinge systems.I leave the front door open when I am home and she will take a toy inside and have a nap while I'm doing whatever I need to do around the house. She doesn't spend much time in a crate as I'm retired and able to take her with me most of the time and has free run of the house while I am home, but she does have separation issues and destroyed $300.00 worth of wooden window blinds after her last escape while I was gone for about an hour.I highly recommend this crate to anyone frustrated with wire or plastic crates not being able to restrain a powerful dog and the price was only about $30.00 more for this one than either of the other two that were totaled in a few minutes!

Good sturdy crate but not quite big enough
This crate was very easy to assemble by myself and is very well built. The option to leave the top open is very convenient for giving extra petting during our evening down time. Our youngest pup is a destructive chewer, and, so far, he has been very calm in this crate. We purchased large size, which works for our medium-sized dogs (45-60 lbs). It is not tall enough for our 85-lb Rhodesian Ridgeback-Weimaraner mix as he cannot stand in it without ducking his head down. I do wish there was one available for larger dogs.
