Works very well with everything with USB port!
Bought this for my last Xbox Series X , works so well without no issues and surprising works at full speed .(To be noted ,full speed where the Xbox fully supports via USB ports by the controller, speed depends on each device you connect and it's normal because like this all the USB Hubs works) After that I connect to my Asus Ally X via a dock ,works well again without no issue For sure I will buy again another one if I will need one , good and easy connectivity plus value for money are there for sure!

It works
Using this with an M1 Mac mini (2020). Previously, not having enough connectivity led me to buy a couple of USB-C hubs (one SSK B093247D2N which has 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A and another no name which has 4 USB-C). Despite getting the required extra connectivity, I found drives and devices dropping offline - seemingly randomly. For example, Time Machine drives would work but be offline next time I looked. Quite obviously, it wasn’t that there was anything wrong with the actual drives. Did some reading around and realised it was likely power delivery to the hubs and devices. I did get a particular arrangement of drives (and other devices) and socket usage that worked but if ever I changed anything, I was likely to have to go through multiple permutations before I found a combination that would continue to work. Reading around the internet, it appeared that there might be an issue with power available at each USB socket. Decided to get a powered USB-C hub. But even that wasn’t straightforward as I wanted one without fancy things like Ethernet or HDMI or card reader capability. Just dead simple - power to the USB-C sockets. Already have multiple USB-C charger/power supplies. Set this Aceele device up and it has now worked flawlessly for about a week. Not long to be sure, but not a single disconnection. Have now also connected the other USB hubs to this Aceele device in a cascade - and everything I have tried so far works just fine. Including a new Time Machine SSD drive. I’ve done absolutely nothing to test or check speeds. They don’t really matter to me. I have a simple set up and, so long as when I do something it doesn’t appear to take long, I am happy. I’d notice if anything were really slow but probably not any difference between 5 and 10 GB. The relatively long cable is very much appreciated. Avoids having to fiddle around right behind the computer except when plugging it in. My other USB-C hubs have something like 10cm cables which are terribly short.

Very Very Slow Data Transfer Speed
I only used this once to to Backup my system to a Kingston External SSD. The speed was between 30 & 50max Mbs and would have taken 2 hours plus. I then plugged the SSD direct into the same USB port on the rear of the PC and the speeds were between 800 and 1100 Mbs - about 30 times quicker and backup took about 6 minutes. Item returned.

Great
With the march of USB C continuing, this next-generation hub offers a clear speed advantage over lesser four-port hubs. There's a fifth wheel to this rig, and that's a USB C power port, which means you can power the hub, but not your device, when using this. Some external drives demand more power. What really sets this USB hub apart in this crowded marketplace are the four USB 3.2 sockets, 2 being USB C and 2 being USB A, correctly identified by the orange colour. That means increased speed, doubling the theoretical transfer speed from USB 3.0's 5Gb to 10Gb, device-dependent. Due to the nature of USB 3.2 10Gbps is the maximum, when more than one device is connected the bandwidth is shared. However, even if I hadn't a faster external drive to hand and was just, say, relying on USB thumb drives or an older USB 3.0 HHD, I would still consider this device, as USB is backwards compatible, and then should the occasion arise where you have access to a faster device, you are future-proofed. Of devices, the hub is compatible with the main operating systems; Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android. And things get better; I have a usual preamble about USB C hubs following a similar design pattern. That's a rectangular grey alloy box of different widths with a short flex that ends in a USB C plug, but here I am pleased to report connection cord is 1 metre long, which is really useful. Many Desktops (Motherboards), from towers to Micro-PC, now ship with USB C ports, and often to the back of the case, so this extra length is useful reach, and even when connecting to a handheld device or a laptop, just having the extra length comes in handy. Also, speaking of a rectangular grey alloy box of different widths - I liked the thin profile of this device, which aids portability. The price point, I think, is very good; checking off the alloy construction, a long lead, USB C PD, and four high-spec ports, the premium is only a few pounds more, and well worth it. I liked this.

I bought this for my desktop to put some USB ports on my desk. I wanted a basic USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10GBPS) hub - not a USB dock with additional thrills such as display outputs, card readers, etc. This hub does exactly that. It has a nice slender aluminum body that feels solid in the hand. It's also nice and compact. It does not pass through power to computer - whew, again, just want I wanted as my desktop isn't a notebook that relies on getting power from a USB port (I don't want to risk power passing through the hub and frying the USB controller on my system). It has a USB Type C on the end that hooks up to a USB power source - like a phone charger (I have mine hooked up to a standard phone charger. This power powers the hub, and any of the USB devices that get hooked up to it - again, exactly how a USB hub should act. And then it has two USB Type C ports and two USB Type A ports for my devices. All are USB 3.2 Gen 2x1. And how does it work? Transparently - hooking up devices to it is the same as hooking it directly up to the computer - no hiccups or slow downs, and no issues with achieving full USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 performance. I docked it one star on versatility as I would have preferred the computer hookup side to have had a USB Type C port as opposed to a permanently attached cable - this is so the cable could be easily replaced if it ever needed it. If you're after a basic USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10gbps) hub that does not need power pass through, and does not have any other features like HDMI or card reader or other feature outside of it being a plain hub - this is it. And it is rock solid. And there are other options from Aceele makes that do support other port configurations and/or power pass through if you have a notebook that requires it.
