Excelente 👌
Todo me gustó. El costo. El equipo. El funcionamiento. Es muy fácil de instalar y de utilizar. Las instrucciones son muy claras. Solo el vapor de agua o con aceite esencial es muy agradable.

Works well, but be wary of Amazon Resale
To be honest, this is my first humidifier, and I did a lot of research before settling on this unit. I've seen plenty of negative reviews for these devices complain about how these products are either a pain to clean or they don't want to do the cleaning at all (seriously though, it's kind of expected of any product using water). I was at a point where I didn't know which one to buy, because a lot of negative reviews complained about molding or leaking, but after concluding the same negative reviews were on literally every noteworthy humidifier I was looking to buy, I settled on this one. There are some hard-to-reach parts of the unit that are annoying to clean, but I found that's pretty much the same deal with all the other units I looked into buying. I've also seen some with smart home features, but didn't think it made sense for myself. Seriously, the units always go:nkoing to be in the room I occupy and pretty much right next to me, so smart home features are rather excessive to me. Also, I never really need to adjust the settings, because this one already has some nice auto features, like shutting off or turning on after humidity reaches a certain level. Fortunately, it seems this was a practical purchase, because I do live where it's normally around 95F outside, so the humidity has been considerably low. The only thing I don't really like about this purchase is the manual. It was not printed with sequence in mind and some pages are even upside-down. I have to literally take the manual apart to find things like cleaning instructions. Additionally, it does a poor job with explaining how to thoroughly clean your unit and disassemble it; specifically, the large spout piece. It's kind of annoying that I have to figure out complete disassembly for myself, yet it's still a bit difficult to get into the harder to reach places; however, now that I know the spout piece is actually two pieces, it should be easier to clean it in the future now that it's officially mold free (seriously, some of the stains were hard set until I took them to a vinegar soaked cloth, and even then, I still needed to wipe down roughly to get them out). Otherwise, I'm glad the device works as intended, but because I don't want to deal with mold whatsoever, it's kind of why I've made it routine take it apart and clean it after every use. So just understand that routine maintenance will be a thing no matter which humidifier one might get. Make it easier, and clean it often. Maybe not as much as I do, even though I would still recommend it, because it's generally easier to clean each time the more often you do it. I deal with virtually little to no mold or any nasty stuff because of how often I clean it. The only exception was when I finally figured out how to take apart the large spout (no thanks to the included manual), which was pretty nasty to clean after 4 weeks of use. Your best materials for general cleaning will be using a microfiber cloth, a brush, vinegar, and hot water. Again though, make sure you clean often. Don't let stains sit for weeks, or you might regret how long it'll take to clean later. I'd also only recommend one of these units, because the more you buy, the more maintenance for you. - Something else to mention: I ended up going with the Amazon Resale unit, because the price was really enticing to consider. While my experience isn't necessarily a major deal breaker, I still feel it's important to reflect. Basically, although I bought the product in 'Like New' condition, it was definitely previously used a few times, and not really as described on the condition notes. There were definitely water marks to suggest it's been used. For that matter, even though I bought 'Like New', it really matches the 'Very Good' Amazon Resale listing they have instead. Mine definitely had a few cosmetic dings on it. There was a scrape on the unit itself and the tank had a couple of scratches and a large scrape mark consistent with someone packaging this a little carelessly (likely for return). It's also missing one of its rubber bases. According to the manual, the product was also supposed to come with a cleaning brush, but that was not included with my unit. So yeah, mostly minor stuff to mention; granted, when the condition doesn't match, it's still somewhat peculiar. These aren't exactly the standards Amazon expects of its third-party sellers when selling items in less than new condition on their platform, so kind of disappointing when the platform itself isn't as mindful. Whatever the case, it might be something to consider if you choose to go the cheaper route. Again, not really a deal breaker, as it's still a really nice price for a unit, even if it's not as stated in its condition notes.

Humidity control is a plus, but unfortunately, probably should use distilled water.
Although I am not really an expert, I do have some background in water chemistry that I am applying to this review - so please excuse its length! For decades we have used a traditional vaporizer. This works by passing an electric current between 2 electrodes inside the “cup” submerged within the vaporizer reservoir. This produces steam that emerges as hot mist. One disadvantage of this approach is that it can burn small children and pets who get too close. Another is that if the water is “hard” (contains too much calcium and/or magnesium), then calcium and/or magnesium carbonate will precipitate out forming scale. This eventually coats the electrodes, preventing them from transferring the electric current. Also, the electrodes eventually corrode. On the other hand, if the water is too pure, electric current will not pass through it. In this case a little table salt (sodium chloride) can be added – the more you add, the more vigorously steam is produced. Overall, these vaporizers work well, they just “burn out” every few years. Also, there is little control – they run until the water drops below the level of the electrodes. Since almost all the impurities stay behind as the water evaporates, the scaling potential and salt content increase over the hours of each run. In order to reduce the potential for burns and to gain better control over the room humidity, we looked at this Dreo HM713 humidifier with its options for both cool and warm (not hot) mist and a humidity control option. It is an ultrasonic model, breaking the water into very fine droplets that are emitted, rather than to steam. That means most of the impurities are emitted in the mist. Then as the water vapor evaporates from the tiny droplets, the solids (such as the calcium and magnesium carbonates and sodium chloride). are left as tiny airborne particles, or “white dust”. Some negative reviews complained of a fishy odor. Such odors generally come from organic compounds called amines. The precursors for these compounds may be in the water supply, but I suspect they may have been added unintentionally by ion exchange compounds present in some home water purifiers. Another common complaint was the fine white powder, which is likely the scale compounds and/or salt mentioned above. As I suspected, we had no trouble with odors (fairly good quality public water supply). However, I was surprised and somewhat alarmed over how much fine white powder was generated. The likely carbonates and salts that produce it are safe to eat or drink, but I am not sure about inhaling them deep into your lungs. I was also concerned that they would quickly overpower the air purifier that we bought recently because of the Canadian and more local forest fires. To avoid the particles, you can use distilled (or reverse osmosis) water (not bottled or filtered or softened water – it must be demineralized). So, our solution (at least for now) is to use an old-fashioned vaporizer during the day, when we can manually turn it off if the room moisture level gets too high (greater than 55-60% relative humidity), and use the Dreo filled with distilled water at night set at a lower moisture level (45%). I do wish we could turn the built-in night light off without also turning off the humidity control. I am also not crazy about buying distilled water in single-use gallon plastic jugs, although we do get 2-3 nights out of a single gallon for our small room. Both humidifiers should be cleaned frequently and thoroughly to avoid microbial growth. One problem with the old vaporizer is that it is difficult to get all the water out and your hand in to wipe it clean. In that regard, the Dreo is much better.

Dreo always makes great products
This humidifier is fantastic. I've bought several others and almost gave up until I got this. It's easy to refill, works great, and actually puts a good amount of humidity in the air. It has cool mist, and warm steam modes. I've bought other things from Dreo and they're always the best.

Perfect mix of features for year round use
I have had a pretty good experience overall with this humidifier and a great experience customer Service...unexpectedly great to be honest. I first bought the humidifier that did not have the app, later realized that is what I needed and got this one as well. App is a must have!! Lighting feature and display panel control is a necessity, as the front lights and panel can only be shut off with 'sleep mode'. In a dark room, its quite a bit of light...so much so that I had to tape over the lights at night if I wanted the non-connected humidifier to run at any level other than sleep mode...which is lowest humidification level...and in my room gets overrun by dry air. I could see sleep mode and the lighting being a good feature in a nursery or a child's room. When you have the app, you have full control of every feature. The front lighting controled as well as display panel lighting, if you want each button press or action to 'beep' or not, scheduling, and importantly the humidification level in single percent changes. Non-app model only has 5% increments. There is reminders to clean the humidifier every 100 hrs of use, and it is super easy and it dies keep it running in top form. I have put many hundreds of hours of use on so far and maintenance is a breeze. It also has a filter timer tell you when to change the water filter. Which does not come with any of the humidifiers like this model. It is a necessity to either have the Dreo filter or use distilled water. Long term though, ANY humidifiers that use ultrasonic vibration to atomize the water is the way to go, however the internet discussions of humidifier dust are legit. So much so that running the humidifier every evening thru the night, in 3+ dapys the dust had already clogged a relatively new furnace filter ...completely.. from lasting 30 days to lasting 3 days. Heard the pricy stuff thatlast months 6 months isx trash on 2 weeks. So use distilled water or get a three pack of filters ffrom Dreo for 19.99 Bottom line: Buy this if you need a new humidifier. You wont be disappointed. If you do buy it: Take care of it: Clean it using easy instructions Use: Use distilled water or get the filter pack it is a need not anic3e to have I had a minor issue with the filter pack I bought. I emailed Dreo Customer Support and I had the issue dealt with in a few hours. Dreo ended up mailing me a new three pack of filters at no cost, and I was given a tracking number a bit later, and the package had already been mailed. Almost too good to be true Customer Service -> A+
