Just what I needed
They are easy to fit and remove ( I never leave them unattended on the roof) a little lighter than I imagined and a little thinner but still do a good job with a kayak on it or a small sailing boat or paddles and masts !

Weatherproof with good fastening
Material is good quality weatherproof over foam liner. Fits well on standard roof bars.I’ve used cable ties for added security to deter theft.

Good looking bar covers
Basically, pipe insulation covered with good quality material. No complaints so far.Oh yes they look good too.

Good enough
Work quite well - have them on a 2011 Toyota RAV4 and they just fit around the RAV4 roof bars but the Velcro won’t quite secure enough on its own so have put cable ties around them to make sure. Certainly a lot more robust than using pipe lagging.

Sun fade
Nice sturdy pads the only thing I don’t like is that they fade really quickly in the sun.

Saved my kayaks when they came flying off some cheap roof bars. Survived a slide down a mountain and cushioned the kayaks to the point they were absolutely fine. The outer cover ripped a bit but very impressed with the sturdiness, will be ordering another set.
