A great extension cable reel that is so much easier to use than the reel-in types. It seems pretty well made and should hopefully last a long time. The sockets in the centre aren't very well positioned so there is no way you'd be able to use all 3 and even when using just the one you have to choose which socket to use as some plugs cover over the safety button and others with fixed cables stop it from standing on the floor properly. The rewind function is strong enough but I always hold the lead to control the speed anyway. I really like it and it seems strange that the design hasn't been available for years.

Very pleased with this auto reel, bought for a specific purpose but needed a slight modification by removing the first metre of cable so as to tension the re-winding spring--as has been stated by other buyers,,, it needs a little help to fully retract the last couple of feet,,, this cures this problem,,,,, also pleased that it has a button to retract,, easily b-ypassed by fixing a plate over the button as it a requirement in my case to have it under return spring tension all the time----.many have to be pulled out to activate the retraction...

Brought this as my former extension wasn't long enough for some jobs. This comes with the auto-wind feature which is really helpful as opposed to winding manually with your hand. Provides 3 sockets which I believe is more than enough. Comes with a nice handle on the top which makes it practical to carry around comfortably.

Heavy, of course. The automatic cable gathered well. The star is removed because the power points are so close if you want to plug in a standard ac/dc plug ( ours is for a dab radio), you cannot use the other two plugs. Had to buy a new cable for the dab which was a regular plug with a separate unit.

The media could not be loaded.  Hard plastic cover and thick cable. The force of witch the cable is pulled back inside it’s strong as shown in the attached video.

Stiff to pull out.
