Masterplug have done it again! A fantasic, fit for purpose product. The switches feel secure and safe and don't "wobble or wiggle". The cable has a nice flex rather than a stiff horrid thing. Plus it has the name Masterplug on it. These guys are THE people for all your mains accessory needs. They're safe and built for purpose rather than budget to make a quick buck

I have this plugged in to a low level socket and this site on my desk for easy access. I don't need a long lead so this is perfect.I specifically wanted a switch for each socket so that I can switch things on/off individually.I think it's a bonus that the switches on this have a small red strip that is lit up when powered on. You'd think at my age i would know which way is on and which is off, but if switches are all white i have no clue!!!!! I switch things about 3 times just to see if they're on or off 😁With this, one glance and I can see if everything is powered off.I'm very pleased that I bought this. I've even bought another, in a longer length, for elsewhere.

I bought this for my elderly sister who has arthritis and can't bend down to reach the switches on plugs. I have not used it myself, but it is heavy, robust and looks very well-made. It has power surge protection with up to £1000 worth of insurance should a power surge damage your equipment whilst it is plugged into the extension lead. This is a very good idea, because a power surge damaged my laptop when it was plugged into a cheap extension cable some years ago. This is far superior to the cables on sale in discount stores and it is definitely worth paying a bit more to get this one.

So far so good, much more robust and high quality than the previously purchased "PowerPlus 2 m 3 Way Switched Electric Extension Gang Lead Cable" which had flimsy switches and eventually failed me.Time will tell, but quality seems very good. I will update this review if needed.Only complaint could be about the bright lights which are not ideal for use in the bedroom at night.

Purchased several Mastplug extension leads recently, because I like this make. Sadly they seem to have cheapened the quality of their materials, the plastic is no longer smart and executive looking, but they will do for behind the sofa or tv. Hopefully the build quality will not distract from their hitherto great reliability. Particularly like the individual socket switches with indicator lights,

I will never buy 'unswitched' extensions again now I have tried these. I have several now, some black, some white, different cord lengths. Originally bought so I could plug in several sets of Christmas tree lights, now so useful all around the house.

For a dull product, it looks quite smart. Each switch lights up with a red strip so you know at a glance when it's on. You also have a green surge light and a red power light. Feels good quality, the cable is satisfyingly thick and the warranty covering your equipment is a great benefit (remember to register it!)

Overall this is a realy high quality product as we can expect from masterplug.I have no worries about the electical safty of this device. However the switches are of poor quality. They feel musshy and dont act like a bistable mechanism, where they are either in one possition or the other. you can verry easily get the switch stuck half way.
