Bellapierre Loose Mineral Foundation SPF 15 – Pure Powder Base, Full Coverage Mineral Makeup, Matte Finishing & Setting, Lightweight, Talc-Free & Paraben-Free – 0.32 oz - Ivory

A brilliant foundation. I have been wearing this foundation for well over ten years now. Although it was slightly reformulated a few years ago (it is lighter converges now, but equally buildable to full, if required), and although I preferred the older version, I have still not found anything that looks more natural or is longer lasting. It also does not irritate my skin, which most foundations do. It works equally well for my now dry skin as it did for my once oily skin. I use it both wet and dry. I use one of the deeper shades as a bronzer and a lighter one as a foundation and concealer. As a foundation, one product will last me around 9 months (with medium coverage, or 6 months if I want more full coverage). However, as I don’t need to use any primers or powders, it works out to be a decent price at the end.

This is quite simply the best foundation I have ever used. Your skin will look perfect with this. I dont know how, because it is a superfine powder. Its a little miracle in a pot. Its needs to be used sparingly and once on is invisible giving the impression of flawless skin. It hides redness and imperfections and if you use a little brush (an eyeshadow or lip brush would do) just wet it and dip into the powder and mix in lid to form a great concealer! The amount you need for your face is just a tiny pinch (literally) just mix it in the lid and apply using circular strokes. This is my second pot. The last one lasted 6 months and I use it every day. You do need a proper soft mineral brush otherwise you cant use it. Body shop do great ones (but their mineral foundation isn't as good as this!) I'm hooked!

I've tried loads of different loose mineral foundations so I'm coming from this off the likes of Inika, bare minerals, zao, Alima Pure, Everyday Minerals, Lily Lolo. I got an amazon gift voucher or else I'd never have paid the price (exceedingly poor at the mo) Very impressed with it. It's very finely milled equal to Inika, and has no suspicious ingredients. It sits beautifully on my skin all day and doesn't move or wear off through the day. As far as shade goes, I am very pale olive with a yellow undertone, and tan olive neutral in summer, so I thought Ivory would be best but it's very yellow and too dark for my winter skin, so I've just ordered Ultra which I will mix with Ivory for my winter colour. It's incredibly difficult for me to get a good colour match from any company but I was a little disappointed with Belle pierre's colour range. I will buy again but only if my financial situation improves lol Oh forgot to mention that I've taken a star off not because of the product's quality but because it's in a plastic pot and I'm trying ever so hard to turn the plastic tap off (failing miserably)

Around 5 years ago I bought my first Bellapierre and never looked back since. There is no way I would use anything else now. My skin is sensitive and it doesn't like bulky stuff on it. This blends with my skin for perfect color and 'no make up' look. It covers blemishes and discoloration. There is just nothing bad I can say about this product. The seller was great. My initial order didn't get delivered, for some reason, and they sorted it out immediately! Would definitely buy again.

I was hoping for light coverage, but no matter how little I tried putting on, it sits quite heavy I found. It was also very pale, too pale for me unfortunately, so I didn’t find the colour guide very helpful.

Honestly I never thought that loose powder can provide such a coverage. I’ve decided to give this foundation a go after my friend recommended it- she works with many different natural/eco friendly make up brands and thinks this foundation is the best of all. I’ve been using this loose powder every day since it was delivered and will definitely buy it again once I run out!

This product was far from the 'Ivory' coloured it was marketed as. I am not the palest of the pale but this foundation went on a horrible yellow orange colour that just looked ridiculous. Put straight in the bin as it didnt match the complexion of any colleagues/friends or family.

I love this stuff. I have very red skin and usually need full-coverage foundation to hide it. I found this on Groupon and bought the trial kit when my sensitive skin was needing a lighter option on bad days. It covers very well, stays on (as long as I’m not heavily sweating), and doesn’t irritate my skin. My tips for application: Moisturize beforehand! It has a slight sheen, which can make imperfections look larger. As long as I moisturize, it sits nicely on my skin. Also, use a mattifying powder on top to minimize the above-mentioned issue or if you find it looks too shiny. Lastly, it’s messy. It’s loose powder, what can you expect? However, I personally feel like loose powder covers better and is easier to apply and manage. I just make sure to apply before I put my clothes on and do it over the sink so I can wipe it down afterwards.

I was first introduced to Bella Pierre as I was walking through a mall and it was being sold at a kiosk and a sales girl who worked there stopped me. I bought this foundation originally from there. When it ran out I bought it on amazon because it's difficult to find stores that sell this brand, and the kiosk where I first bought it no longer existed. In the past I have tried mineral based cosmetics such as the Bare Minerals brand, and had varying degrees of success with their products. Although I prefer Bare Minerals blush and their finishing powder called mineral veil, in my opinion Bella Pierre foundation is FAR superior to the foundation made by Bare Minerals. First of all it works EXTREMELY well as a spot concealer, it doesn't rub off on clothes as easily as Bare Minerals and it lasts all day with minimal maintenance. This is by far the best mineral foundation I have ever tried. It is also much cheaper here on amazon than you can find it for retail sale, assuming you even can find it in stores. Try it! You won't regret it! I also advise you invest and buy their concealer brush, kabuki brush and face primer. Those products used in conjunction with this foundation REALLY make a difference and your skin will look flawless!
