I finally found a rain coat that fits my dog within my budget. It is very well constructed. My dog weights 120 lbs and has a 36" waist. I purchased size 3x and it fits my dog perfect. The fabric is light weight and drapes smoothy. The raincoat is easy to put on. The velcro closure is quick. I love the vibrant green color with the glow in the dark banding. The clear brim on the hood is great! It keeps the rain out of my dogs eyes and it doesn't block her vision. I also like the opening for the leash on the top. My dog refuses to go potty if it is raining. I'am so happy she likes her raincoat! I can take her out to go potty in the rain. We are prepared for rainy days ahead! A happy dog makes a happy owner!

I have two dachshunds and a terrier. One of my dachshunds is a little shorter than the other and the Medium was a little too big for him but would probably fit if he had longer legs. My other dachshund weighs 21 pounds and it fits her perfectly. The Terrier weight 22 pounds and it fits her also. I really like the hood - keeps their ears dry without blocking their view since the plastic is clear on the visor. A little heavier weight than previous ones I have bought - seems like it would not rip easily if they bumped up against something. Well made!

This is a nice rain jacket for dogs; however, the viser/hood doesn't stay on. My suggestion to the manufacture is to eliminate the plastic viser and make the hood with a drawstring so it stays on. It's water repellant and easy to put on the dog.

Excellent customer care. Happy with item. It was hard to find the size. I will recommend to choose a bigger size of what the chart recommends.

Overall this doggy raincoat is fine for the body. However, this is the second raincoat for my dog I have purchased and both have same issue. In designing a raincoat for a dog, the extra space needed to cover the neck should be taken into account. The two I have purchased do not and therefore the hoods are useless. The hoods are attached to the body of the coat where the neck begins and therefore do not cover the head adequately. The hood does not stay in place over the head and just falls back onto the neck. A redesign is needed to correct this issue.

Size: SmallMy Chihuahua is 9.5 lbs. pounds. The small size suited him best. He hates going out in the rain so I purchased this raincoat for him. It is nice that the velcro closures allowed a tighter fit around the skinniness of his neck and the fullness of his chest. The clear face shield is great too, however, I would’ve liked it to have some sort of velcro attachment on the back of the hood to be able to adjust it to keep it from falling forward on his nose. It would be easy to fix with a couple of sticky velcro strips. The body of it flares out around him and keeps the rain from dripping directly on his legs and feet. All in all, I am glad I got this for him. He doesn’t seem to mind the rain nearly as much now, and no wet dog smell!

I like the brightness. The yellow color does show where our dog is. The length is perfect for our smooth collie. It's hard to find a long coat. So we're happy with that. However, the velcrow in the front does not stick. As he walks, it undoes and slowly comes off. It won't come completely off because of the chest band and leg elastic. Just can't figure how to keep this on.
