I liked the look of these scissors but it’s taking time to get used to them.

I've been using a pair of "Jaguar" scissors like this (around £95 new!) which I got at a boot sale years ago for 25p to cut my finger and toenails. They did an excellent job but I recently mislaid them. I bought these as a replacement and they are almost as good. The blades are a little more substantial but are razor sharp and allow you to cut and shape even the toughest nails. The "nail scissors" you get at high street shops are short and have small blades which are no good for proper cutting and shaping. These short hairdressing scissors do a great job and are much easier to use. The adjuster allows you to keep just the right tension between the blades for a perfect cut. Highly recommended!My male (6'2" 17st) fingers and thumbs just fit the holes which are always designed for ladies, so no problems there.

During lockdown I watched a couple of Youtubes to learn to cut my husband's hair. These scissors are perfect for the job.

A good purchase excellent value. I am not a hairdresser but have been cutting my partners hair for some years. I had been using a pair of old expensive hair scissors but had not realised how bad they were until I used this nice sharp pair. The finger rest and adjustment screw are a good addition as is the storage case and tip cover. I understand why professional hairdressers find them a good purchase perhaps they do not have them sharpened professionally but for the price they could replace them. I am careful to make sure they are dry and clear of hair before storing.Very pleased

Excellent sharp Scissors, hopefully they will remain so. A word of warning for those like me, that are not hairdressers, these are sharp, I suffered a deep cut after washing them, when I wiped them dry with a towel !

I have used larger hairdressing scissors at home, which I've found bulky and not easy to use, quite stiff and difficult to cut with. These smaller scissors are perfect. Very sharp, easy to handle and cut with and nice size blades. Would certainly recommend
