Maxwell & Williams Tea Cup and Saucer, Fine Bone China, 230 ml

I love the feel of it. Looks very posh.

I'm of the opinion (and I'm not the only one) that a cup of tea simply is NOT a cup of tea unless served in a bone china cup. A mug will not do, no matter what's written on it! The exception is green tea, which is fine drunk from a bowl, but it's a different beast anyway. This china cup has a nice delicate rim but won't break in transit because it's well packaged. The cup is a generous size but looks elegant. A good purchase.

Perfect for civilized expresso/strong coffee abuse-completely useless for English Tea-too small !!!

Having just moved flat I had been searching a while for decent white porcelain, the various ranges available at Britain's favourite department store having proved disappointing both in terms of overall design and the quality of the porcelain. These score on both counts. The porcelain is fine: light, translucent and strong - the best I have seen at this price point. The design is simple and unselfconscious. They also stack neatly too. Recommended.

Very pleased with this purchase! Product arrived in good time in very well protected packaging. Delighted with product quality including supurb glazed finish; easy hold handle and nicely proportioned saucer. Company & product highly recommened.

Wonderful quality cup and saucer - but M&W have changed the shape and capacity of the cup from a few years ago...now more rounded and slightly larger volume. New cups still fit the old saucers but look a little different.

What a wonderful cup and saucer. I love a proper cup of tea in a nice china cup. Would recommend this but beware it is very thin and could easily get damaged no good for a building site.

I could not fault delivery which was earlier than anticipated but was disappointed with the cup and saucer. I was looking for a Maxwell and Williams cup and saucer having broken one of a set and the picture looked identical to the cup I had, but the photo was misleading. I've attached an image of the cup I received which shows its shape has straighter sides and a wider lip than the one on the web page. I have kept the cup but am not really happy with it.

Mir ist mal wieder eine Tasse kaputt gegangen. Daher der Nachkauf. Für den Hersteller hätte ich eine Empfehlung: Es würde mich als Verbraucher sehr freuen, wenn ich Ober- und Untertasse getrennt kaufen könne, da ich immer die Untertasse zerdeppere und jetzt viele Obertassen Zuhause habe.

I just received my Maxwell & Williams Cashmere cup and saucer. Beautiful cup and saucer arrived very well packed and protected with care. Product is as described and earlier than estimated. It is just what I was looking for and this is my favourite brand. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality.

Von drei bestellten Tassen kam eine zerbrochen an. Betrag für die eine Tasse wurde zwar erstattet, muss aber bei Bestellung einer neuen Tasse wieder die hohen Versandkosten zahlen, also hilft das nicht wirklich.
