Littmann Classic III Stethoscope, 5803, Black Tube | Stainless Steel Black-Finish Chestpiece, Black Stem and Headset. For Doctors, Nurses and Medical Students

Bought this stethoscope as a gift to my beautiful nurse. She loved it. She mentioned that is good sound quality, durable and she uses this one as her main stethoscope instead of the one NHS provides.

Works very well, have not had any issue with it.

Had a far more expensive model than this. They were stolen unfortunately so instead of shelling out £200-300 for another expensive Cardio model etc I opted for the Classic III. Honestly it has exceeded my expectations sounds are clear and pediatric examinations are a lot better due to the turn able diaphragm. Highly recommended for hospitals and GP practice. I have found no cons while using it. Its comfortable and rugged. I keep mine in a case so I don't forget it anywhere.

I work as an Doctor in Emergency Medicine. Stethoscopes seem to have an invariable habit to disappear if left on the desk for more than a minute. You don't need a more expensive/different stethoscope than this as a doctor who is not sub-specialised in either cardiology, respiratory or neonates. This can cover the paediatric side with a diaphragm for the bell side. As its avaliable in many colours, its suitable for every taste. Personally the black and smoke edition is ideal as in my practise I have not seen anyone with it and the very popular all black edition that all medical students/ junior doctors is everywhere and easy to get confused. Good quality product

A little pricy but good stethoscope. First time tapping on it (coming from other brands) was shocked by how loud it was despite such a gentle tap - I can probably now auscultate in at least 4 dimensions. Ear comfort is nice, doesn’t press too much into the ear canal yet can still often get solid seal. Amazon is also suggesting I mention the versatility so yes it (obviously) allows for auscultating of heart valves and peristalsis along with measuring blood pressure (as per usual with a stethoscope)

Superbe stétho (black edition) arrivé dans sa boîte d'origine. Qualité acoustique LITTMAN sa réputation le précède. Bref parfait. En plus à prix très intéressant. La petite nouveauté dans cette version c'est la de mettre une petite membrane sur le petit pavillon pour en faire un stéthoscope de pédiatrie. Perso , pour ausculter des poumons je préfère utiliser la petite membrane , les bruits pulmonaires sont mieux perçus. EDIT : je passe mon évaluation à 3 étoiles au lieu de 5 (précédemment), car la membrane du grand pavillon s'arrache toute seule au bout d'une année d'utilisation, je ne compte plus les fois où j'ai du la chercher dans les couloirs de l’hôpital !
