Gildan Men's V-Neck T-Shirts, Multipack, Style G1103

I bought a 6 pack of these and I bought 2 sizes up, XXL, because they are 100% cotton. I knew they would shrink, but I wanted them baggy enough to sleep in. My chest is 43", so instead of buying a large, I bought an XXL so they would shrink to be an XL for me and still be big enough to wiggle around in and not cling to me. In other words, they are still one size too big on me, which is exactly what I wanted. I washed them in cold water, a little fabric softener and I dried them in the dryer with medium heat. They turned out beautiful and soft. If you want to tuck them in, they are still long enough to totally tuck in. I'm a woman, 5'7" and these come down to the bottom of my butt after washing and drying them. A tall man, 6'2" or 6'4" may need a tall size. It just depends if your short wasted or long wasted. I use these to sleep in because they are 100% cotton. I love that cotton breathes and it is really soft on the skin. I love how these feel. I sleep hot, so these are perfect for hot sleepers or hot bodies, they keep me comfortable and cool. Gildan quality is awesome. I've always had a great experience with Gildan t-shirts. When you buy 100% cotton t-shirts, buy 1 size up, if you want to wash and dry them. You should always do that with cotton unless you want a tight fit in a t-shirt, which works well for some people. I don't wash them in warm or hot water, I use cold water. If needed, you can add bleach and they'll turn out beautiful and white again. They are not a thin material, as in usable for a wet t-shirt contest 😉, but they're not thick either, you can see skin through this material. If I hold them up to the light, you can see light through them. The more you wash them the softer they will be, that's the beauty of cotton. Hope this helps with everyone complaining about shrinkage. LOL! 🤦‍♀️😅

These T-shirts are exactly what I was looking for, especially at this price. After washing them several times, they've held up great with no noticeable shrinking, which was one of my biggest concerns. The fit is spot on. They're not so tight that they look like a muscle shirt, but they're also not oversized or baggy enough to look sloppy. They have a clean, comfortable fit that works well whether you're wearing them on their own or layered. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price, and because I was so happy with them, I've already ordered several more in different colors to stock up on what has quickly become my new favorite T-shirt. If you're on the fence, I'd say stop overthinking it and click the button. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Six pack is perfect for my needs. Pretty soft, comfy to wear. Size runs just right. Cut is good, not too baggy like my prior ones. Thickness is not great, rips after a few months in the laundry machine. Opaque so noone can see through.

I've been buying fruit of the loom undershirts for a long time. I've seen them get thinner and thinner. They shrink really quick after just a wash or so. I would expect a little shrinking, but not what they do. They seem to think people are not going to notice as they make their product more and more cheaply. Thinner and thinner. Sorry, now on to these. I'm so happy with these undershirts. They're comfortable, they're exactly the right weight and knit. I will definitely buy them again. They were also offered at a great price.

Really nice, well-fitting tee shirts from Gildan. They have a tendency to make really long tee shirts that hang past your hips which is weird for me personally - but these are great. Sleeve length is good as well and not up on your shoulders looking all goofy. Both sleeves are the same length too - shout out to Amazon Basics... LOL Gildan has good materials etc. Well worth the money.

A large fits fine when it comes out of the package. But they shrink too small so I got an extra large and it was very comfortable after what. A little bit long I'm 5 10 1/2 190 lb so I'm a little chunky. Nice and soft quality

The inherent problem with v-neck white undershirts is that the manufacturer does not know if it will be worn under something or on its own. Old schoolers such as Hanes assume the former and therefore make the neck wide so that when you unbutton the collar of the overshirt, the undershirt is not visible, which is the whole reason it exists compared to the crew neck which is visible. But if you are wearing a v-neck on its own, this creates a blousy floppy look which is apparent when you compare it to colored v-necks, which are not intended for undershirt use and a narrower tighter collar. Gildan undershirts do not make this old school assumption and instead have a narrower neck almost like colored standalone v-neck shirts. But If you prefer Hanes fabric which is a bit cooler and lighter than Gildan for summer wear, one option is to stir the shirt in boiling or close to boiling water and dry it in high heat to shrink and thereby narrow the collar. Since sizing these shirts is already problematic given typical ranges going straight from 38-40 (39 in effect) to 42-44 (43 in effect) which means there is no size 41, you'll want to buy the next size up from your preferred fit and then shrink down from there. If you are a size 41 this is the only way to get a correct size shirt sentinel 40-42 size is even offered, and, further, to shrink the collar so it is not blousy if you want to wear the Hanes white v-neck undershirt as a standalone. This also works with Gildan though their v-neck collar does not require quite as much narrowing as Hanes. As Hanes comes to realize that the old school concept of v-necks being used as undershirts is becoming outdated, hopefully they will narrow their v-neck collar as Gildan has done, though it too could benefit find narrowing slightly more. Both great companies and understandable reasons for their choices. If Hanes is committed to wide v-neck undershirts to remain unseen under and over shirt, Hanes would benefit from offering a separate narrow v-neck product to let the customer choose which they prefer.

Was really hoping these were better. Trusted brand but fell short of expectations. I’ve always used another brand for undershirts but decided to give these a try because they were a little cheaper on sale and from a reputable company. Overall fit is good, sleeves are a touch longer than other brands but not a dealbreaker. Shirts are comfortable, made of soft material and neither too thin or thick. After one wear and wash, the collar rolls and give the appearance of being stretched out. They don’t sit flat and smooth like others, which have been worn and washed many times over the years. This may not bother some, but I can feel my shirt rubbing over it and generally doesn’t present well. Sadly disappointed and will return for previously used brand.

These Gildan V‑Neck T‑shirts are comfortable, well‑made, and consistent in fit. I am really pleased that these XXL shirts actually fit like a XXL should. The fabric feels soft, holds up well after washing, and stays bright white. The XX‑Large size fits true, and the multipack offers great value. I will purchase again

Perfekt, einfach ein schwarzes Shirt, dass ich als Unterhemd tragen kann. Liegt gut am Körper, Material ist sehr angenehm und kein störender Kragen der am ende zu sehen ist. Werde ich auf jeden fall wieder kaufen.
