It really works!!!
My 5 year old, 170 lb English Mastiff recently developed issues with his hips, and it was slowing him down. He began experiencing pain getting onto the bed, to the point where he altogether stopped getting up on it. I could tell he was getting depressed about it, as he is usually a very active dog. He could barely go on walks without taking Aspirin beforehand, but I didn't want him being on that as a permanent solution. At the start of this year, I didn't even know what the summer would bring, if he would even be able to enjoy the outdoors at that time - he was getting worse, practically by the week. I thought surgery for him was imminent. I stumbled across this product by serendipitous happenstance, and couldn't be more grateful. The product had awesome reviews, across multiple platforms, and I figured it couldn't hurt to try it. Within the first few days of being on it, my dog's limp was less pronounced and he was in much better spirits. After a few weeks, he was practically a brand-new dog, or rather a dog of his youth! It brought tears to my eyes!! I waited a full 2 months before leaving a review, and I must say, it actually works. I was ready to invest in expensive stairs for the bed and my truck for him, and those purchases haven't even crossed my mind since he's been on these pills. He's jumping into and out of the truck, the way that he used to, and he happily snores in my bed every night now.I am not being paid to say this, nor am I receiving discounts or anything of the like. I don't typically leave reviews, but I needed to with this one. As a dog owner and lover, if my review can help someone else, then that also makes me happy.

Adds a bounce in my senior ridgeback's step
Like many of us, I have an older dog that I adore. The last few months especially, his signs of aging seem to be increasing faster and faster. He started losing his appetite in the mornings and just wasn't himself. He's an 11-1/2 year old ridgeback and I get that larger dogs don't live forever, but I wanted to do EVERYTHING I could to keep him happy and healthy. I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. My boy has now been on this for about a month and a half and I am starting to see subtle improvements. I don't have to beg and cajole him to eat breakfast and he just seems to have perked up a bit. I'm not saying this is a "fountain of youth" product, but it does seem to be improving his quality of life. I think its an expensive product but it seems to be worth it. Plus, he's super finicky when it comes to supplements but this is not an issue with this supplement.

Good pet supplement
I had always heard good things about this product. I gave them to my dog for months but I can't say that I could see any difference in him and he couldn't tell me, so it's difficult to rate. My dog was older and has since passed away but I don't know if this supplement attributed to his long life. He did outlive his life expectancy, so maybe it did help.

The Gift is a Rejuvenator for Older Dogs
We have been giving this supplement to our 12 year old lab - border collie mix female for about 4 months now. Prior to starting, she was listless, slept a lot, and suffered from a lot of hip & hind leg joint pain. She now eagerly takes one of her "heart pills" every morning and evening without the need for a pill pouch, cheese wrap, etc. Her energy level is very good for a dog her age. She barks when she hears someone out front where before she could care less. There is a cat that lives in our bushes and she is always looking for it now whereas she never did before. Also, there is no longer any hint of her joint problems and she has to get up off polished hardwood floors most of the time. For an older dog who seems like they are on their way out, "The Gift" is well worth trying.

Gift for Life is truly a pets life gift!! All pets deserve this health benefit!
Both my pups have been on Gift for several years. They are under 10lbs so they each get half tablet, twice a day. My rescue had upset tummies and really smelly, loose poop. Gift has given him back solid, non stinky poops. Yorkie has had luxating patella since she was born. Gift keeps them running, jumping and playing. Its shown to improve their health from early spading & neutering. Vet visits show they are staying very healthy. My daughters all use on their pups. One has 3 really huge labs prone to joint issues. Another keeping her pugs healthy, and the other has an elderly King Charles that was given 6 months to live, that was 2 1/2 years ago !! Can't say enough good things about it. Was very happy when Amazon starting carrying it. With monthly shipping, get that discount and free shipping with prime. As a side note, I've been taking human form, GS6, for 3 or 4 years. I'm 70, and could really tell a difference in joint health and just feeling better!

This product works!
I have had my 15 year old Yorkie on this now for about 6 months. Prior to trying this supplement I thought I was going to have to put her down as she was in so much arthritic pain. She hated taking her pain meds. I decided to take her off those and, at the recommendation of a friend, tried Gift for Life. I am amazed and so happy with the results! She is happy, she eats again, she is back to walking 4 miles a day! It's like she's been given another life! And she thinks they are a treat, so easy to give to her. I highly recommend to anyone with an aging, arthritic dog and hope you have the same great results that we did.

Buyer Beware!!!
From the vast majority of reviews on this supplement, it seems that for the vast majority of dogs, The Gift for Life is an amazing, maybe even life changing product. That, however, has not been my dog's experience. My experience may not be yours, however I felt the need to write this review as my dog got very, very ill after just 3 or 4 days of taking this supplement, as directed on the label. My 11 1/2 year old golden retriever has mild to moderate arthritis and has really started slowing down over the last 6 months. He's found much success over the years using glucosamine, chondroitin, man, pineapple extract, Willow bark extract, etc, but those supplements just haven't been cutting it these past few months.I was really trying to avoid having to give him prescription NSAIDs, in part due to the cost ($160/mo) and just not really being keen on giving him a daily pharmaceutical solution for his arthritis until I had exhausted all the natural options first. After reading multiple reviews and seeking out a few third party sources on line speaking to the efficacy of the supplement, I was very excited to try "The Gift for Life" and was really looking forward to my boy maybe feeling a few years younger, with more mobility and less pain.Day one, two doses, all was fine. Day 2, second dose, he refused to eat his dinner. Now let me be very clear here, this dog will eat ANYTHING as long as it has some sort of meat in it. In his 11 1/2 years he has NEVER refused a meal, even licking his bowl clean after every meal. So the fact that he was refusing to eat even a bite of food that evening really caught me by surprise. I chocked it up to age and thought maybe he just got tired of eating the same food or maybe he had an upset stomach. I really wanted to make sure he got his second dose of this supplement so I wrapped the pill up in some cheese and he ate it, no problem.Day 3, breakfast, again would not touch his food. Not a bite. I feed him w high quality grain free kibble with some high quality wet food mixed in for flavor and variety as I switch up the flavor every few days, rotating 4 or 5 flavors all from the same brand of wet food. He skipped breakfast, except the supplement, wrapped in cheese again. Two missed meals , back to back.Dinner time rolls around and again, he would not eat a bite of food. At this point I had become very concerned about his not eating, 3 meals in a row. I decided to try offering him just wet food and he ate it all up, supplement included.Later that night he threw up twice and had very dark, almost black, diarrhea on the carpet over night. Next morning we did the wet food again, with The Gift for Life included.Over the course of the next 15 hours, he vomited 7 more times and had diarrhea accidents in the house every hour or hour and a half for several hours. He became very lethargic and had a very dark discharge coming from his eyes. At this point he wouldn't even eat cheese or drink water. I rushed him to the vet. After $240 in labs and other tests 2 bags of IV fluids, and some anti-emetic on board, the vet and I went through everything he ate, every where he went, and all the things he did over the past few days to try to uncover what he could have gotten into or come into contact with that could make him so terribly ill. The last few episodes of vonitting were just bile and he was dry heaving every few minutes for a few hours. He had been eating, or offered, all the same food he's been eating for two years, went to the same parks, walked around the same neighborhood, came into contact with a few dogs at the dog park, chewed on a few sticks like he always does. No significant changes, or even minor ones for that matter, save for the addition of The Gift for Life supplement.I left my boy at the vet getting fluids and rushed home to grab the bottle and back again to the vet so he could see the bottle. My vet said in his "professional experience" the handful of other dogs he's seen who use the supplement found it helpful, at the very least. He did say that one other dog, however, got very ill after about a week on the supplement, presenting with very similar symptoms as my golden. It's been an entire 36 hours since the last time he took The Gift for Life and he is finally eating a small portion of his wet food and luckily the vomitting has stopped, although he still has some lingering diarrhea, although at least there's some solid material mixed in now as well.As I said in the beginning of my review, I'm sure most dogs will have no problem with this product and I'm sure it's very helpful for tons of dogs.Just because my dog got very ill from taking this supplement doesn't mean your dog will. This review is simply meant to be cautionary. If you decide to use this product, maybe just keep an eye out for any eating or behavioral changes and any illness. I was honestly very surprised and even caught off guard by how sick my dog got after just a few days on this product.Again, my experience likely won't be yours. There is however a small chance your dog could end up super sick like my boy. Absolutely buy the product if you choose, just know... Buyer Beware!
