BYOMA Hydrating Recovery Oil

I originally bought this oil to use as a dermaplaning glide, but it came in clutch as a true barrier repair hero. It’s now the last step in my PM skincare routine to lock everything in and help my skin recover overnight. The blend of squalane, jojoba oil, and seabuckthorn oil feels luxurious yet lightweight, absorbing beautifully without feeling greasy. When my skin is over-exfoliated or dry, this oil instantly brings back comfort and hydration. It calms redness, seals in moisture, and helps my serums and moisturizers work even better. On normal nights, I still use a few drops to keep my skin smooth, glowy, and well-protected. I especially like applying it after retinol or tret to add a gentle cushion and prevent irritation. My skin always wakes up feeling calm, soft, and balanced, with a healthy, natural glow. I was hunting for an oil with hyaluronic acid, jojoba, and sea buckthorn (all ingredients mentioned by a face fitness person I really like and follow) both for gua sha and as an occlusive, and saw the good reviews for this oil. I check all skincare and makeup for pore-clogging ingredients before I purchase, and this one is A-OK on that front. I ADORE this oil! From first use, it felt luxurious on my face, although im not sure I would call it heavy. It’s an oil and I suppose it’s greasy (because, oil), but my skin absorbs it pretty well and the product doesn’t just sit on top of my skin. It doesn’t have much of a scent at all. I use it on a clean face for gua sha, and it has enough slip. I use it as an occlusive over other products at night, and my face feels velvety and soft and moisturized in the morning. I don’t know that it’s softening lines per se, but it’s definitely making my skin look and feel better. Some days I go with a serum, then moisturizing sunscreen and then this on top, and my light makeup goes on great and my skin feels lovely. Price is pretty good for such a great and versatile product. I highly recommend!

You know how a lot of us get annoyed when our partners use our skincare? I actually love when I can share mine, because it makes me feel even better about what I'm using. BYOMA is one of those brands that just gets it right. I fell in love with their milky toner first, and this oil is just as good. I have dry skin and my boyfriend has sensitive, acne-prone skin, but this works wonders for both of us. It's not heavy or greasy at all. I mix a few drops into my moisturizer and it makes my skin look like glass, it's so glowy. It's perfect, I wish I had a lifetime supply. It absorbs so well into the skin and we don't get any breakouts from this. A little goes a long way, so this is a great value and will last us a while. It's soothing for irritated skin, which is a must for us. I'm on tretinoin and my boyfriend used to take Accutane, so our skin can be reactive. This oil has become a staple in both of our routines. Overall, BYOMA as a brand has really impressed me. Everything we've tried has been gentle, effective and feels good to use.

Great Facial oil! Lightweight and absorbing. I’ve always had oily skin but after recently having a baby I had the driest, itchy skin on my face. This oil was so relieving. It has no fragrance and layers well with moisturizer, spf and makeup. I did purchase the byoma moisturizing rich cream and layered with oil first or after just depending. I’d purchase again and recommend.

This facial oil seems pretty good and straightforward. Not necessarily a game changer, but it didn't make my face break out and seemed to help with hydration. It does absorb quickly and no artificial fragrance. Only four stars because the packaging makes it seem like there is more quantity than there actually is. Not really worth the price for the quantity. I will probably try something else next unfortunately.

I bought this facial oil after seeing influencer Nina Pool recommend it, and I’m glad I tried it. Even though I have oily skin, it does not leave my face feeling extremely greasy. It feels lightweight, adds hydration, and gives my skin a healthy glow.

This oil is awesome! I am a 75 year-old woman and have developed an allergy to retinol’s, so I decided to try this oil in my face loves it! It soaks right in, does not burn my eyes and feels very healing.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this stuff! I don’t think I’ve ever felt this much love for a skincare product, and trust me, I’ve tried a lot over the years 😂. From the moment I started using this oil, I noticed a difference. My skin feels incredible and hydrated! Which is MUCH needed during these dry winter months. The texture is perfect! It’s lightweight and non-greasy, which is a game changer for me because I’ve struggled to find an oil that hydrates without leaving my face feeling weighed down. With just a few drops, my skin feels nourished and super smooth, giving me that glass skin look which I haven't had in YEARS! Just remember to place it in your hands and warm before putting on your face, I do believe that is key in helping activate the formula. The oil does absorb quickly, which is a huge plus for me as I don't have the patience to wait when I'm done with my evening skin care I want to go to bed, not wait around 😂. The scent is light and subtle, not overpowering at all. Which is also a big deal for me, I can't stand overly perfumes right before bed. Especially on my face! Overall, It’s hands down one of the best skincare investments I’ve made. It's affordable and does wonders for my 34 year old skin!

I tried this hydrating recovery oil after reading reviews and I am so glad I listened. My skin is glowing! It's non-greasy with a beautiful fragrance. My skin is moisturised andy complexion has dramatically improved. You only need a tiny amount so the bottle last ages. It has ingredients that nourish the skin. The handy dropper makes it very easy to apply. I have tried numerous face products and this brand is fabulous. The product contains Jojoba oil and sea Buckthorn oil which are wonderful for the skin. I would definitely recommend to anyone with dull, dry, tired skin.

The oil is really hydrating and moisturizing to the skin. I use it for face shaving and it really glides on the skin. Can recommend it for night use or for even an after shave barrier protection.

wow is the best thing to say about this product byoma is an amazing brand and this recovery oil works wonders for my skin!! i use every night and honestly it the most soothing gorgeous oil it sinks into the skin and leaves it really soft and glowy the next morning. Its super easy to apply with the dropper and smells fab

Ich benutze das Öl jetzt seit ein paar Wochen und bin insgesamt zufrieden. Es zieht überraschend gut ein und hinterlässt keinen extrem fettigen Film, wie man es von manchen Ölen kennt. Die Haut fühlt sich danach weich und gepflegt an und wirkt deutlich weniger trocken. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass es sich gut verteilen lässt und man nur eine kleine Menge braucht. Der Geruch ist angenehm und nicht zu aufdringlich. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil es bei mir – je nach Menge – manchmal doch etwas länger braucht, bis es komplett eingezogen ist. Mit der richtigen Dosierung passt es aber gut.
