Sturdy and Effective – Great Gate for Safety We've been really impressed with the GROWNSY Baby Gate for Stairs. It's incredibly sturdy and well-built, giving us peace of mind when it comes to keeping our little one safe around stairs and off-limits areas. Installation was straightforward, and the gate is very easy for any adult to open and close, which is a huge plus when your hands are full. The design is clean, modern, and blends in nicely with our home. One thing to note: while it's secure for younger toddlers, our 2.5-year-old was able to figure out how to open it with a bit of effort. So if you're looking for a gate to block slightly older, more curious kids, you may want to keep a close eye.

Being a first time Grandpa, I was preparing for a visit from my Son/wife with my grandson. My house was not toddler proof and I had a set of stairs that needed to be blocked, I saw this baby gate on amazon and quickly order, came 2 day later just in time to set up. My application was unique as the foot of the stairs was next to a window and could not place any gate there do to not having any solid surface on one side due to window, I went with two gates to black access to the stairs from the main house, these work perfectly and were extremely easy to set up. they had extenders but I did not have use but see how that would be a benefit for other application needed a wider area to block. Once in place they were solid and held in place with any fear of them falling or being pulled down. The Gate made it easy access for the rest for us adults. Not having to step over or take down to get upstairs was a real plus. They were only for a visit so I have store them for next time or to use in other applications. I would highlyly recommend to anyone. One big hint in installing, since I am one who does not read instructions I cut a zip tied that prevent the spring action n the gate to not engage which makes installation easier, though I did it, it was still pretty easy to install but took a little more effort and adjustment on the tensioners on the side. I learned my lesson on the first one and the second went up easy peasy. Lesson learned do not cut the tension strap. It is well marked on the product.

We bought 2 of these gates: one for the top of our stairs and one for the bottom. We were very pleased with them, especially with the piece that fits the bottom of the gate to make a little ramp over the bottom bar frame so no one trips. However, after only 6 months of gentle use, the latching mechanism in one gate broke. I tried contacting Grownsy to see if the parts could be replaced, but the link to call customer service doesn’t work. I also used Grownsy’s contact page on their website, but no one ever replied. If you get a good gate - 5 stars! If you get a faulty one, there’s no customer support.

Purchased this gate to gate off our living room in an opening to the hallway that’s 48in. It was easy to install and is perfect for separating our dog from our little one when needed! Great quality, works well and is also our son’s new favorite toy! It’s easy to open when you get the hang of it, opens both ways and stays open past 90 degrees which is so helpful for when you’re not wanting it in use! The anti tripping ramp thing is great too! Priced well and is definitely another win from Grownsy! We have loved every product we have from them.

Bough this a few months back for when our grandchild comes to visit. The color looks nice and matches our decor. The ease of installation is a bit tricky and it not too convenient for quick installation and removal, as it isn't used everyday. To be honest, I'm not sure any others would be much better. The adjustment capability is there but you had better be mechanically inclined in order to install this, repeatedly, as we use it. The latch is ok, but how I have it installed, it can be a little loose, as one of my anchor pints is a handrail post, which is not the best.
