Cannot see through them at all when turned on
You can't see anything when you turn the lights on. It's like someone is flashing an LED flashlight directly into your eyes. When they're off you can see okay through. Sure takes away the fun when cosplaying.

DO NOT BUY FOR COSPLAY
DO NOT BUY FOR COSPLAY good looking, bright, but if you put them in a helmet you intend to wear, it is more or less impossible to see through them while the lights are on- if you already have them, color in the inside of the lenses with sharpie and it will help, but only buy these for display pieces
